What exactly is the Nova group and how do do they play a part in the show?

I know TJ Kim went after Ryland and I know this sounds alittle upseting but I was actually happy to see someone take him out after his stunt with the promicin and stuff.

I don't know exactly what is it but i think it is a group that shawn was helping by donating money to help the 4400. Little did he know that they were doing the opposite.

I just hope this doesn't dumb down the whole show. If it turns into good v evil groups and carbon copy X-men, I'm gonna be bummed. I was hoping for the continuation of finding out who does what in original ways like they had been. The Pretender turned into that.

My thoughts about the Nova group:

Apparently, the Nova group's interests are to protect the 4400s, and they consider themselves at war with anyone that might hurt the 4400. They are what we would consider to be radicals, willing to do what they feel they must do to protect the 4400s, including killing those they consider their enemies. I see a parallel between the Nova group and terrorist groups - small groups that use terror to get their message out there.

I think they were added to the storyline as a way to have a discussion / debate about right vs wrong, what the role of the 4400s are in society. A radical group such as the Nova are very often the catalyst or lead the way in revolutions or major political/societal change.

I think it could be possible that Jarod from the Pretender could have been a 4400 I mean hes a pretender right which means he could be anything he wanted .

I hope they dont ruin the show either I mean Lily is gone but lets just hope they keep being original and not follow other shows and their ideas.
