Here's a post to discuss "Three Stories" which was indeed a brilliant episode! Storyline, writing, acting, emotion - this one had it ALL! *Discuss amongst yourselves*

Thank you, "HouseObsessed." Do you only have to click on "Post" to start a new thread? I was looking for something that said "New Topic" or "Start a New Thread." Sometimes I am soooo dense.

I loved "Three Stories." I liked Stacy in this episode except for the part where she dropped the "husband" bombshell on poor House. This particular episode won an Emmy for David Shore for writing. Well deserved, in my opinion.

I loved the way all the stories were interwoven until they all came together in House's case. I loved how the lecture hall started out empty and was nearly full by the time he was finished. I loved the rather stunned looks on the Ducklings' faces as House finishes his story, and Cuddy's face, so full of sorrow and regret. I enjoyed House's amusing lecture; he only got harsh and abrupt one time, and Cameron was there to smooth it over.

Do you think that Stacy was right or wrong in taking the decision out of House's hands? I have mixed feelings. I think she did it because she loved him and couldn't bear to think of him dying, even though she knew the decision would cost her his trust and their relationship. She did it for the right reasons. The only thing that bothers me is that she didn't seem to discuss this option with House before the surgery. I think he should have known that she at least knew about that option and was considering it.

You're right about the fact that she should have mentioned it to him before they knocked him out. It was like she knew he wouldn't go for it, but she had to make sure she got her way regardless.
