Jacee, I'm so sorry. I'm glad you shared pictures of him though it makes it all the more sad that I can visualize him. They're so important in our lives.

Jacee,
I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your best friend. I lost mine 2 weeks ago. I read your post from last Oct. in the Rainbow Bridge post, it sounds as if you and I had a little longer time with our pets than most. My cat was 20 years olde, we thought we were going to lose her last December, but we got an extra 5 months. I knew time was short and made sure I appreciated every extra minute I had with her. The vet said in Dec. she wasn't ready... she will let you know...
You and Vinny are in my thoughts, I know what your going through. I know it will make you cry, but go back and read Rainbow bridge again, in the long run make you feel better.

Jaycee...
I am sooo sorry over the loss of Vinny. I know from your posts how close you two were and and how much you loved him and he loved you. I know from experience how difficult it is to have that extra special bond taken away.
Take all the time you need to grieve, the loss of a pet can be just as devastating as the loss of a person. Know in your heart Vinny has not really left you, he still watches down on you and waits for you at the 'Rainbow Bridge'.
You can contact your local ASPCA to get the name/number of a local Pet Loss Support Group if you feel you wish to. They are great organizations.
My deepest sympathy and understanding,

Jacee, I'm soooooo sorry to hear about that! My heart truly goes out to you! I know what you're going through and it's really tough! I do hope you try and focus on all the good times and memories you have. I did a special photo album of mine when I lost her and it helped a little bit. It's great to go back now and think about it all. It does just take time, although I hate to use such a cliche'. You take care, okay?

I'm so sorry. I wrote a page about petloss. I know nothing can help much, but knowing that others understand sometimes make you feel a little less alone. Again, I'm so, so sorry.
