Joanne Biter Hobart, IN Joanne Biter, age 74 of Hobart, formerly of Munster, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2006. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother of four sons. Joanne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hammond. She is survived by her husband, James Edward Biter; four sons: Mark E. (Pam) Biter of Martinsburg, PA, Timothy L. (Freddie) Biter of Hobart, James David (Tina) Biter of Memphis, TN and John S. (Nicole) Biter of Dyer; 13 grandchildren: Lisa, Lori Larissa, Linda, Mark, Sam Biter, Ashley, Summer, Lindsey, Luke, Jack, Noey and Dylan; four great grandchildren; brother, Terry (Ann) Duff of Munster; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart. Interment in Memory Lane Memorial Park, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 2 - 8 p.m.
