I debated about getting tickets for both shows, but funds are just way too tight for that unfortunately. I'll just have to listen online and wait for other people to fill in the live details.

Did I hear somewhere that it is going to be televised, or was I just dreaming?

I thought I had heard that the NS4 winner was to appear on a televised Opry show, which would mean the 6:30 show. He better be on the 6:30 show! If he isn't, then I'm donating my ticket to charity.

It doesn't list what show it just has 6/10. He is listed last, so I thought maybe that meant he was on the late show.

Part of the deal for the winner was they would be on the televised portion of the show. He may very well be on twice that night but he definitely should be on the 7:00 - 8:00 portion that is televised. They usually release the actual times a few days in advance. I'll be watching, recording and listening online in case he sings 2 songs and they only show one. I have noticed with some of the newer artists they sometimes cut away on their 2nd song and do an interview Oh how I wish I could be there to see it! However I suspect he will be invited back frequently. I think the Opry members are going to love him!

One of the members of the CMNS Board called the Opry ticket office, and they said Chris is scheduled for both shows

I can only imagine what that night is going to be like for him. I'm already charging up the camera batteries and will have cleared out all the pics from my digital so I can use them all on him!

I'm sure he's going to be very emotional that night. His grandfather will be in the house, and ever since Chris started singing, the only thing Chris's grandfather has ever said was that he wanted to live long enough to see him play the Grand Ole Opry. (BTW - my dad is in his 70's, but in perfect health, so hopefully he'll be able to see Chris there often...

Bringing this back to the top in case more people have decided to go and perhaps want to discuss a get together or something.

Becky, your Dad repeated that to me at outside one of the Nashville Star shows. This is going to be magical for both your Dad and Chris. You will need plenty of hankies.
