I haven't ever posted, but I am definately not new to the boards. I read them pretty much weekly, since I our hotel that we were stuck in didn't get USA Network. However I did get to watch last night's episode.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that Anastasia accidentally announced the winner (As if it could be anyone else?) early. After Chris did his solo piece toward the end, She was talking to him, and she said something along the lines of this "This is" and then she paused and said "could be your ticket to climb Mt Everrest." My husband caught this and I made him take the DVR back to to show me.

I didn't catch that.. I'll have to rewatch it.

What I did find interesting was when Wy asked the judges at the very begining who they thought would win and they all said Chris. I was pretty surprised.. good surprised though. In the beginging it seemed like the judges, Anastasia in particular, never had anything nice to say about Chris. So it was AWESOME that he ended up being their pick for winner.

I HEARD HER SAY THAT BUT I DON'T THINK THAT SHE WAS SLIPPING, SHE ALREADY SAID LAST WEEK THAT HE DESERVED TO BE, SO I THINK THAT SHE WAS GOING TO SAY SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES AGAIN.

I agree. Win or lose... this exposure will open the doors for several of them in the future. A ticket to climb for sure.

I can't remember what it was that Anastasia said after Casey sang, but I thought the same thing that she knew and was almost giving it away.
