Does anyone else out there share my sentiments that it was inappropriate, downright disheartening to the point of being cruel, to hear Anastasia and other judges skew the voting by commenting on Chris being the next NS?
In my opinion, Nicole, actually every woman in the competition was at a distinct disadvantage to begin with because, if the demographics of the viewing, voting public mirrors the audience, most voters are female! How awful for Nicole & Casey to have to stand on that stage and have to perform after hearing such comments broke my heart. I could see the light go out of their faces. If Anastasia's comments were an intentional tactic the show's producers are using to manipulate the outcome, then the competition is rigged from the get-go and the millions of us watching shouldn't bother to vote!
The caliber of talent on the show boggles my mind! Niole & bCasey are fantastic performers, they will go far in country music regardless of the final finish --they just deserved more respect and a fairer shot.
Judges -- just comment on the individual perfomers strengths and weaknesses and keep the "winner" comments to yourselves!
Who agrees?

It does stunn me a little bit to hear them say things like that too. I guess they figure that they are doing the artist a favor by toughening them up for the real music industry. Which is why you have people like Matt who seems like he is not going to conform to any kind of manipulation for what he does and does well! It kind of reminds me of the "Great and Powerful Oz" who is just a normal human with all the normal stuff to go along with it kind of guy, hiding behind a curtain!
Iv'e never gotten the whole thing about people who are bigger than life b/c of what they do or who they are anyway. Except for one guy who left a great big impression on humanity about 2,000 years ago! Everybody else just puts their pants on one leg at a time right?! I don't mean to sound arrogant but even the great and powerful David Foster or Naomi Judd are just human beings! They may know their stuff very well but that doesn't nessesarily make them the best at being a judge. Or at giving wholehearted constructive advice. Anastsia does seem to know what she's talking about but I can't help but wonder if she realizes that most of the guys who are listening to her don't hear what she's saying anyway b/c they can't seem to get past the cleavage that she so proudly displays everytime the camera is on her! It kind of makes you not take her as seriously. I guess in the end everybody is just trying to shove themselves to the front. Wynona does seem sincere though. And Cowboy Troy is a very likable guy! As is Phil. Boy, we women sure are catty aren't we?!

I thought Nicole was absolutely aweful as a singer, but she was hot. Unfortunately, it was a singing competition and not a modeling competition.

Ummmmm Chad we don't insult people on their own forums. This is Nicole's forum and for her fans and nice comments about her.
You should learn The Golden Rule... it is if you ain't got nothing nice to say....say it in general!

Thanks for the instruction there. I did say she was hot.
I do find it very interesting that music is so subjective, that's all. What I stated was just one persons opinion. I really would like to know what people who liked her thought of her voice.
Sorry if I offended any one.

You didn't offend me. Just giving you a heads up on how they do the forums. I'm not sure if Nicole has any fans that post here anymore to answer your question.
