Full Version: Why is Kristen not in the top 3?
I'm sorry, but I don't get it. I don't mean any disrespect, but Kristen is way better than Nicole, and even Casey. It should be between Chris Young & Kristen McNamara. If we are truly only speaking on preformance ability & talent, and if we are being honest...it should be Chris & Kristen.

Don't beat a dead horse, Kristen did not get enough votes and Nicole did! I may not like the final 3 either but all three earned their spots. Live with it and move on.

You are asking for honesty while you don't practice any yourself. You are clearly biased or simply delusional if you think Kristen is even in the same statosphere with Casey. You might have a basis for a debate if you confined it to Nicole, but HONESTLY Nicole presented herself much better than Kristin, chose better songs and performed them better than Kristin.

LTG8 The person you are replying to is an American consumer who probably buys 10 or more CD's a year. I can see how you feel you have been attacked personally by her remarks about Casey and feel you need to strike back.

If you check her bio, you'll see the obvious bias. I doubt she buys any country CDs and would not buy Casey's anyway. Besides, she is the one that is here to tear down the Nicole and Casey because she misguidedly thinks this will make Kristen look better.

I saw the bio and realize that her daughter is Kristen's best friend. Still why would you think she doesn't buy country music CD's because she lives in C.A. in the Nappa Valley. TailG8 that's where the happy cows come from or some of them anyway. I have been really impressed with Casey especially over the last two weeks. The man can flat out sing. I would say I voted for him but the Chris Young fans would run me out of here. Actually I split 35 votes two ways. He deserves to be in the final three he has earned it. I am a Kristen McNamara fan but I have never once said she was robbed or cheated or that the voters are tone deaf or must be stupid. Kristen does have an incredible voice. I don't think she brought her A game to the show. Nerves whatever! The people in Matt's hometown want to adopt her. They loved her performance there. I guess for her it's a matter of feeling comfortable. I really don't have a bad thing to say about any of the contestants and I wish them all the best. I really hope something breaks for Jayron that man can flat out sing too.

Never mind. I learned a long time ago to never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it frustrates the pig.

I do think Kristen is better than Nicole, but then I also thought Melanie was better than Nicole-but then I thought Matt was better than Nicole. But-I must confess that although I do think Kristen must have a strong, beautiful voice, I do not feel that it showed in her performances. We only got glimpses of what it could be. I liked her personality, and I believe in a studio she'd be great, but let's face it - go back and review the performance and she was sharp or flat on many notes. I do believe, however, it was due to nerves. As for not Kristen being better than Casey . . . Can't go there. Casey's voice is spectacular. No one, not even Chris Young (who I love) comes close. Performance wise, he's right on cue-no sharps, no flats and great quality (regardless of nerves). You may not like him as your personal favorite, but I find it hard to believe that anyone could deny that the boy can sing. FYI: I REALLY felt it should've been Casey, Matt, and Chris. The winner???? Toss a coin. I'm Casey supporter, but I must confess that I threw some calls Matt and Chris's way. I don't dislike Nicole-I'm just baffled.
I have a question... Several weeks ago there was someone that kept saying on a post that they had something to loose or something at stake does anyone remember that?

She was off on every song she did, and, (except for "Give 'em something to talk about" which she couldn't do right), her choices of songs were awful! I bit my tongue for five minutes before I typed this, because I try not to participate in this further than 24 hours after each weeks show. But, I just couldn't resist this time. Sorry.

You know I really didn't think Nicole was bad at all. I think they all are under allot of pressure and that effects their performances. Chris seemed to cope with it the best but I'm sure even he wasn't comfortable.

Kristen was the only female I believe had a chance at it this season but wife and I had her at number 4 with Chris,Casey and Matt ahead of her-my mind she ort to be on the Nashville Star tour.I think it very strange that Nicole beat out Torres and McNamara--and real unlikely that she beat out Matt.Rumors abound about fixes as it was deemed Matt might be hard to work with at the Record Label???

I heard a rumor that fewer people for Matt, and that's why left. But your rumor makes a lot more sense, since jeopodizing the integrity of the show to fix who finishes in third place seems so logical.
Out of all the nashville star people kristen was my favorite and i wish that she wasn't voted off and she would have won!!
