Amen!! Matt was consistent week after week and I loved watching him! Great things are in store for this young man!
No doubt in my mind. Country music needs someone like him really bad. He'll make it and when he does I be there cheering him on.

No, I have to get up early in the AM for work but I was willing to suffer with sleep deprivation for Matt but now he's gone so, so am I.

I couldn't agree more! I never would have thought Matt would have been voted out and am really disappointed in America. Of course, I know Matt will get a deal with someone, anyone this far does. There are some people that were voted off that shouldn't have been. I can't disagree more with the public with who's left.
As much as I wanted Matt to win, he'll still be fine. Melanie's got a record deal already- he will too. Maybe he'll come back to Tootsies for a little while, which he knows would make me happy

Matt is still the greatest, he has the skill to be the best and he deserved to be the winner of nashville star. Not only does he have the skill he has the looks that go with country music.His vocal are all country and ive been voting for him and wish that he would win he was the only one up there that had the real country sound about him. I maybe only 18 year old but i grow up on country music and matt to me was COUNTRY!!!!! the other up there just ain't that real country.!! they sould be sing pop:) Matt is the real thing and if nashville star dont want him ill take him any day, he very SEXY!!He's my kind of man!!!!!

Completely agree with you Lynn! Matt has what it takes...he's my generation's Waylon, Willie, Johnny, Hank...all rolled into one. I'm not worried that last night was the last we heard of Matt Mason, and the look on his face when he was talking to Wy, I think he feels the same way. He may not win this competition, but give him a year and we'll all be flocking to Wal Mart to pick up his debut CD. Just want to say one thing to Matt...DON'T CHANGE!! Keep doing what you are doing, be who YOU want to be, sing what YOU want to sing...you've got a great road ahead of you!

I certainly think Matt is someone Country Music needs. He can help turn the younger CM fans on to those they have never heard and they can hear about the roots of country. It's not the Keith Urbans , or Kenny Chensey's etc. I was suprised how many didn't know Conway had recorded Goodbye time before Blake. Yes I think Matt would be a great influence on CM if he gets established.
Matt, I was very sorry to see you leave last night. I wish you all the best, and will certainly miss you next Tuesday night! Good luck and stay true to yourself.
