i dont know what is going on with aussie free to air TV( which broadcasts new episodes of monk.) I believe that the network plays what the hell it wants just because we are not paying to watch thier channel. hence the reason why monk is not on every week. monk is usually aired at 6.30 pm on saturdays but it is often replaced by weekend sport broadcasts and B grade disney movies. monk has not been on for four weeks as at time of this post. the networks gotta make some money somehow, if that means culling monk for some other apparently more important event so be it!
oh and another quick question, does anyone know when the monk series three DVD will be released for region 4 encoding?.

Welcome lily and monkobsessed. Don't be afraid of the MMMTB. It can be a little intimidating at first, because it's been going for a lllooonnnggg time. And, there's all kinds of stuff to catch up on. Just read a page or two, and jump in anywhere. It's great fun, and keeps us going til we can get our new Monk fix.

A well-wished and warm welcome to all the new Monk fans who have come here to the Kingdom of Monk. Read a few posts, make a few posts, answer a few posts, never a dull moment around here - but watch out for the MMMB, it's kind of full of spa mud at the moment, unless the penguins have gotten it all cleaned up. The library is nice and clean though, we have a OCD Monk fan who keeps it that way and we're expecting a new shipment of MONK books any month now.

OTB: I think I'll just stay off the bus for now, they make me nauseaus (at this point, I can assume "magical" ones would as well. Why risk it.) There are many things I've heard about re: the bus that make me nervous i.e. nature (it's everywhere!); monkeys (I'm terrified of them); and singing (I would get kicked-off the bus if I even tried!) Anyhoo, I love being here & thank-you EVERYONE for the warm welcome! Smoochies...

This is my first post here... It seems like everyone is nice, and, if this board truly has an impartial moderator - that makes it quite unusual on the internet

Well, I just wanted to say hello. And also that "Monk" is a very enjoyable series, and also, that Tony Shalhoub is a very talented actor! I noticed him first in that film where Bill Murray & Geena Davis are trying to escape from NYC and Tony Shalhoub plays a bus driver. He keeps saying "Bluftoni! Bluftoni!" His desperation and urge to convey his message were very comical - and his portrayal so memorable, for a guy with a few lines!

I hope to see him in something like Shakespeare one day, and/or a major motion picture. He is very talented. Ok that oughta do it for a first post, thanks for reading!
