I know it's easy to say it when it isn't you but I'm sure the music business can be pretty tuff and Nicole probably knows that. So those that are being mean are really just toughening her up for it. OOHHH I bet that makes them mad!I can think of a few great singer songwriters that have had to face horrible things that were said about them from people who really didn't know what they were talking about. Trisha Yearwood for one. Good thing she didn't listen either! I wonder how many of us would stand up to that kind of judgement on whatever it is that we do. And I think true artists stay true to why they do what they do regardless of what critics have to say. Nicole will be fine!

I like your attitude. That is all so true. The music industry is tough on everybody. You have to stay true to yourself and your values, stay grounded, try to maintain a balance in life, have a support system (family & friends) and have a strong sense of self to endure the criticism that will come your way. Nicole will be just fine, and this criticism she's getting right now WILL only make her stronger, as you said so well. She just needs to continue believing in herself, as those of us that support her do. When you believe in yourself, you can do anything that you set your mind to.

I am cutting and pasting this post from my ticket information post because I want everyone to read it again. The bashers need to lay off and understand that if Nicole inspires just one person to do what she did and follow their dreams, then any amount of criticism was worth it.

Tonight is going to be a love fest for Nicole, see you all there.

Thanks for sharing that! I didn't get to see it. I hope you have fun at the concert. You'll have to share details of it for those of us who don't get to go and share pictures, too, if you take them. I'm glad it's going to be a "love fest" for her. She deserves that, and I'm sure she needs to feel that right now. Being home among family & friends that support her will give her the strength and inspiration to continue on her path.

I wish so much that we could be there! If you get a chance at the meet and greet please tell Nicole that she is loved down here in Mansfield Texas! I'm excited to see our old hometown on TV next Tuesday!Have agreat time!
