And the Fans Pick for Season One is DINNER WITH DANA
Here is the order of the episodes as they were voted for
1. Dinner With Dana 14.9%

For the good part of the week, Dinner With Dana was in the lead, but the last 3 days It was a battle between Dinner With Dana & Shaman.
But the interesting part of this poll, is that Quality of Life got no votes until the I thik last 2 hours of the poll.
I'm looking forward to next week to see how season 2 will come out out this weeks poll

It was rigged! *grins hugely* I know you and Maximus voted the limit. *grins more* I love Dinner With Dana. In fact I love all of s1, even the one everyone seems to hate: Here There Be Monsters. My vote was for Shaman as both hubs and I really loved the concept and I love a Whumped John.

Yay! I voted for DWD!! It was just so well written and funny too. It also involved the entire cast!
I have to ask, which eppy didn't get the vote? Was it "The Siege"?

Nothig wrong with a healthy appreciation for good whump. Especially when you have someone like Michael who can sell it so well.
Oh and Bratty, I'm guessing Here There Be Monsters for the no vote. Though my least favorite of the season is Enigma.

Sorry Bjossi, I didn't see your edit until now.
I would be curious to know how the possibility of voting multiple times affected the results. Did you change that for the s2 poll? As for the results themselves...
I'm not surprised that Dinner With Dana won. For me it was a toss up between that and Shaman. The acting in DWD is excellent. Kristen and Michael have wonderful chemistry. Their uncertainty as they stumble through the evening and the distinct difference in their respective expectations is very well written and played. I'm also a huge fan of the pilot-both parts-and Netherworld as well. I'm surprised to see The House come in lower than Destiny or Enigma. The former set up s2 very nicely but I can't understand the fascination with the latter. It's a cool idea and there is some comedy in it but basically I yawn my way through the episode. The House had alot to say about John's life and really establishes the longevity of his association with Gene Purdy. It's a great reference point for anyone wanting to map out the progression of the Smith character. Plus it has the added horror element. Some of the most King-like scenes in the entire series. The low placement of What it Seems is a surprise. I simply do not distinguish between the two eps that comprise the series premiere. I think they are both excellent. I also really enjoy Here There Be Monsters. Possibly because I am from a small town and were the circumstances odd enough I can see some of my neighbors getting pretty out of control. I get the impression that alot of the long time fans thought the story was pretty implausible. I think John L Adams said it best on one of the commentaries, possibly for this episode. He quoted someone else at the time "A person is smart, people are stupid." (paraphrased) Nothing like the mob mentality to set reality on its ear.

The vote for "Quality of Life" is probably mine. I felt sorry that one episode didn't get any votes and I wanted all of them to have a vote.
"Quality of Life" is my least favorite, I apparently have unresolved issues about popcorn!
