Ok ... so Jared's fans know I am not part of his fan-club ... not that I don't like him as a performer, but simply because he hasn't impressed me as yet in this competition ...
I had him as leaving the competition for two weeks, and both weeks ... his fans showed me wrong ...
Anastatia has not been very delicate to Jared either ... so I wonder if her comments towards Jared is making more people vote for him and make her "pissed" ...
I am pretty sure his fans will want to show Anastatia that he has a following ... and that her comments are not appreciated ... and that they will still vote for him regardless of what she has to say ... which a true fan always does ...
has anyone notice that when you go to the nashville star main page ... where it says ... Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 and Season 4 ... if you click on each one ... Season 1 has Buddy Jewell profile, Season 2 has Brad Cotter and Season 3 has Erika Jo ... and since season hasn't finished yet, but you get Jared's profile for Season 4 ...
is that a sign?

im rooting for him to go all the way. i think he has the biggest fan base although the posts on this site seem to favor chris young. jareds fans just arent on this site. jared has toured so much more than anyone and that is going to be a huge advantage for him. anyone who has seen him live know that the real jared hasnt shown up for the show. he still seems so nervous. My advice is to lose the jacket and be yourself. RELAX!

LOL I dont know if that is a sign or not! LOL But it sure would be nice! All I know is my votes all go to Jared and no matter what, I will continue to love and support him whether he comes in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th,.. see I dont see him going home next week.. I do feel confident enough to say Jared will be somewhere in the top 3.. For me to say he has it in the bag and he is the winner is too premature I dont honestly see how ANYONE can say that right now.. we have seen to many surprises already...

I sure hope that he makes the Top 4. Hopefully Nashville Star will do it like they did last year, where the Top 4 were on the NS tour. I was very glad that Jayron, last year, made the Top 4, as I was able to see him on the road and meet him after the show. What an amazing guy! I feel that Jared would be quite the addition to the NS tour and would love to have the chance to meet him after the show, as well as Chris Young. Both young men seem to be humble and truly thankful for what they have been blessed with!

I had actually read that the NS Tour would be the top 3 this year.. I dont remember where I read it at but I will try and find it..

UGH, say it isn't so! I'd hate that it would only be the Top 3. I thought that 4 worked out nicely last year because there was a little something for everyone in styles.

Haven't noticed that, Erwin...but it would be awesome if you were right!! All of my votes go to Jared...he has an amazing stage presence and a wonderful personality! I do hope he makes it to the top two or three...I think he deserves it!

AMEN SISTA! OK~here's my take on it! I'm not sure if Jared will be this season's final winner or not, but he IS an amazing entertainer/singer/songwriter~I do know that much! No one had to introduce me to Jared Ashley's music~it was something I stumbled upon while visiting Nashville last summer and I have been in love w/ his voice, stage prescence, etc....every since. I am personally a fan of his because I connect w/ his music in many ways~it either gets me up on my feet or it tugs at my heartstrings! W/ that being said, I agree w/ whoever made the comment that they have yet to see the real Jared up there on the NS stage~so Jared if you read this~relax a little dude and smile! Oh yeah~and continue to handle Anastasia w/ class! You have my VOTES all the way babe!

To me, it seems that Jared doesn't quite have "it" to be up on stage...maybe he should stick to frat houses.

Well, everyone is definitely entitled to their own opinions, but seriously how many other BIG STARS have been told that exact thing at least once in their lifetime? Personally, I wish each and everyone of the remaining contestants the best of luck on down the road! I just hope that my boy Jared gets the recognition that he sooo deserves!

I agree! If Toby would have walked away all the times he was told he was no good.. he would not be where he is today... Jareds day will come whether he wins or not!

Was it from some past tuba-player experiences in band?

I sure would like to know what tuba player you have ever seen who had the dexterity of hand gestures while playing.
Do you even know what a tuba looks like?
Seems to me that Jared was the only one who got a really neat review from John Rich of all who sang the songs he wrote.
Maybe John flunked tuba class, too.

As a matter of fact, I do. I am 1st solo clarinet player in my symphonic band, and am proficient in alto and tenor sax, flute, piano, and also in my school's percussion ensemble. I've been an instrumentalist for 16 years...
I can also explain the difference between a sousaphone and a tuba. I am what you may call a "Band Geek" and music education with an instrumental emphasis is my future.
The conducting question was an attempt at a band nerd's point of view on what looked like an attempt to conduct...not so much a dig on Jared. Tuba is a respectable instrument to play, let alone play well. I wouldn't make a joke about something I didn't know about.
Oh, and I would love to introduce you to my tuba section...its amazing what they manage to do while playing tuba...

I must say I am a die hard CASEY RIVERS fan but so far
all of Jared's fans have not lambasted Casey as some have.
Thank your fans for that.

Thanks Nana! I have to say that I find it very rude to lambast other contestants and I think the Casey fans have been a class act as well. I think its ok to say you didnt care for a song or a performance but some of the stuff that is posted on these forums are just down right nasty and rude and it only hurts the artist them fans are supporting..
From a die hard Jared fan, THANKS! and you know I wish Casey all the best.. he is my 2nd fav and if Jared NS road was to come to an end Casey has my votes.

Band geek here as well, which is why I was kind of surprised about the tuba ref. Good for you, it sounds like you're set to do some really neat stuff in people's lives if you stay the course and continue to choose to teach. Nothing but respect from me
As far as Jared, dunno. Maybe he did it to stand out. Pretty cool if so, because we're still talking about it.
