Nicole, what is your nationality? My maiden name is Bemrose, which is mostly British. My uncle has our family crest and a journal that is so old that the pages may break if we turn them. Apparently, Bemrose is or was royality at some point in London. My dad always wanted to go over there and claim a castle in our name. He died before he could ever afford to do so. My brother is the only one who can claim it now (If it can still be claimed). Last I heard it was being used as a museum to pay for the taxes on it.
I do know that there is a Bemrose park and a Bemrose School in London, so that says something anyway.
