I think so and the man delivered like kicking a 60 yd field goal with no time left on the clock in the Super Bowl! The thing is...not only did Chris deliver, he now knows deep inside that he can bring it when the chips are down. That's so important for a performer. Congrats Chris for hitting the grand slam tonight! WooooooHoooooo!

Yup. And that "feeling it deep down" sensation moved right through him and out to all of us. ....It's like cheering for the Red Sox when they're in the World Series. (Sorry. I couldn't think of anything else that was soooooo exciting. )

Absolutely! He brought all of himself to tonight's performance. There is only so much you can see in a cover song, and getting his song on national TV with such emotion was wonderful. He is true in everything I have seen of him. He is sooooo grateful and he appreciates any advise. He is in it for keeps! I don't know who said it, but there is such conviction in his voice....Love the music, keep rockin you tall dancin' cowboy!!!

I was telling my mom last night that if it was a competition where he was able to sing his originals every week that he would have won the show without a doubt after the 1st week. But sometimes cover songs are hard to judge on. Cause they want you to make it your own, and if you make it too much your own then they say you didn't sound like the artist who sang the song originally. Its a catch 22 if you ask me. But original night is definitely a wonderful night and Anastassia and David put it perfectly and there is no doubt that Chris is going to win this thing. It took me over a half hour to get my 10 phone calls in on my cell cause I kept getting busy signals everytime I called. I had to call a good 50 to 60 times before I got my 10 votes in. Good thing for speaker phone and my new cell LOL made it easy to keep dialing.

I was SO proud of Chris last night.
As long as I've known him, his performances like that,,,,STILL blow me away! Wow!
