I agree...this competition is now Chris Youngs to lose, He'll only win though if the women think he's cute enough...Obviously talent has nothing to do with this show anymore or else we wouldn't have been subject to Jared Ashley's entirely no talent song that he wrote for himself and yet couldn't even sing on key!!

Hmmm...I've been watching since the beginning and I have to agree that Chris Young is the best. However,strangely,I find myself sitting here singing Nicole's song. While it wasn't her best effort it was the only song sung with real emotion tonight.

I am so upset Kristen had to go!!! What is wrong with this picture?! She's great and to have Nicole have more votes than her is so shocking to me...did anyone else hear that? I watched the song Kristen would've sang and it was wonderful... In case you're reading these Kristen I will be the first in line if you come out with an album!!! Kristen you ROCK!!!

I agree that is stinks that Kristen was voted off the show. She is talented and a very sweet person. She will go far, with OR without the Nashville Star competition.

America got it right tonight. She is just average. She is no Trisha Yearwood, you know! You have to stand out from the rest and act adult enough and professional enough. Didn't happen. I am surprised she lasted this long! The women just couldn't compete with the boys this year and that is the cold hard facts, like it or not! It'll be btwn Chris and Casey in the end and I knew from them singing their 1st note! The rest are just fillers and making a show. America got it right and I am glad!

I think you are wrong and have a bias opinion. Agreed most of us do. I think Kristen is going to do great in the music world and I'd definately buy her CD. I feel that if original night had been earlier, she would still be on that stage. Personally, I think Jared and Matt should have gone first and that this show is being swayed toward the guys every season. Since I can't use my votes for Kristen anymore, I'm going to use them for Nicole. Chris has enough of his fans voting and I think that we should keep our one female left here in action and get rid of the others that should have gone before Kristen.

So, who is biased? Are you voting for the real talent or for gender? Be honest here. Close your eyes and listen to them. You should come up with the right one! Good luck!

I hate to say it but I think this thing is starting to seem fixed. nothing against Chris Young, he is a great talent but isn't it amazing that all the ones that could give him a good fight for the win are gone(Kristen and Melanie for example). And as far as Erica Jo being a fluke, I don't think so. She's great. But Kristen is better and we will see and hear from her again. (Mike)

Well lucky for the field Kristen did not get to sing last night. Her rehearsal of Blow Away was great. She would have been sitting pretty right next to Chris Young as the final two had last night materialized. Some of those originals were awful. Chris was great, nobody arguing that, but Kristen was the best after that.. what a shame..

I love the quality of Kristen's voice and she is charismatic. I agree that her song "Blow Away" would have put her up near the top but I also think that the quality of that song does not approach that of Chris Young's song. To make it in this industry you need high quality songs that have great hooks. You can't be great at everything and Kristen's songwriting abilities do not match her vocal qualities. That doesn't mean she can't improve because she is still young but with the total package she has, if she had the 'songs' she would be odds on to get a record contract. Maybe she can co-write with Chris Young in the future. Think about this, if Kristen would have sung, "Drinking Me Lonely" how great that would have been with her voice!
