Did you know that there will be a meet and greet at the Opryland Hotel in the Delta lobby tonight at 6:30 and that the contestants are doing a couple of live acoustic songs each at 8:00? They announced it on WSM with Bill Cody this morning...
If you are in the area, come on out!

Sounds like fun, Becky. I didn't go to work today, out sick, so I'm trying to decide if I dare risk going to Opryland. Oh, what the heck, the boss will be at a PTSA meeting (where I normally would be if I wasn't <cough, cough> sick), so there's no way he'd catch me. I promise to stay away from Chris though, no need for him to catch whatever it is that I have.

Delta Courtyard maybe? It's the area with the boat thing and some shops - I'm not exactly sure (because I still get lost in there)

It was a really enjoyable event. Chris led off with two originals, and they all did well. It was the first time I've seen Kristen play a guitar, and she didn't disappoint. There were a lot of fans there, and the cutest were the really young (6-8 yrs old) little girls who all seemed to have a crush on Chris.

I almost considered dropping my biology lab to go to the meet and greet... Then I didn't. I hope it was a BLAST and that the weather was great! Was everybody acustic? That would be cool to see anyway!

It was an acoustic event. Chris, Casey, Kristen and Nicole went totally solo, while Jared and Matt had a guitar accompanist (although they played, too).

WOW!!! Sounds like a wonderful time. ....And tell those little girls to get out of the way 'cuz we've been in line for a loooooong time. LOL (Just kiddin') ....Actually, I can totally understand why were crushin' on Chris.

B, I am sorry that I did not see this post yesterday. I was in Nashville at Vanderbilt hospital for an annual check up regarding my stem cell transplant. My bone marrow is still cancer free, I am four years out of transplant. Now all I have to deal with is the stupid lung cancer. Had I have known about this, I would have stayed in Nashville for the evening. I guess I had better get going as we are about to get a terrible storm, the wife is yelling at me so I had better hurry if I know what is good for me. I hope all in your area are OK following the storms there.
