I'm liking it! I found this part veryinteresting:

I can almost write the same sentiment for Matt Mason as I did for Casey. While I've felt Matt was the male front-runner and ready for a record deal, he is now tied with Chris at the top of the heap. While he nailed the performance, Matt's voice did not shine with that song.
If Chris sings the same original song as he did at the regional competitions, Matt better have written an amazing song while in Nashville if he wants to win this competition! Now that Nashville Star has such strong talent, the difference between success and failure will come down to the song.
So while Phil said Chris had a shot to win this, obviously Anastasia now believes it too And as some of us guessed it was the original that Chris did at the auditions that impressed her so much and that she's been bringing up. She's already expecting Chris to be in the lead with his original song and obviously is impressed by his songwriting ability as are we. I completely agree with her that the original song can make all the difference and it's what most of us are waiting for. Of course we know Chris will easily deliver on this! While I hate ro rush weekends, I am sooooo anxious for Tuesday night!

Wonder which original he did? You'd think if originals were so key, the entire audition process would require 30 seconds of an original and 30 seconds of a cover.
This next show will be fun!!! Chris won't disappoint!!

That's how he introduced the song last night, the one he will sing if he has been voted to continue with the show.

Thank you for the good thoughts. Sadly, not everyone survived the most recent round of storms. As of right now there have been eleven confirmed deaths due to the tornadoes that ripped through a couple of communities north of Nashville. I wouldn't be surprised if the toll goes higher.

I live less than 10 miles from where the tornados hit. The roads are still closed in the areas that were hit the hardest.

You must be somewhere near Gallatin then. Hopefully you and your loved ones escaped unscathed. I live near Donelson and all we got was a very brief period of heavy rain. We've been very fortunate so far.

luckily I live just on the other side of Gallatin and yes we all made it through it safely. I was actually taking my husband to work when it went through and was scared to death. You couldn't see 2 feet in front of you.

We got them in Murfreesboro, too. One touched down less than five miles from my home, but we escaped with just a lot of hail-ravaged cars. The insurance companies are going to be extremely busy this week.
The devastation in Gallatin was hard to view on the news - our thoughts and prayers are with those who suffered far worse than we did.

I know what you mean about the news. I was glued to the tv and phone last night making sure everybody was ok. My Sister was scared because she saw the news and knew that I had took my husband to work and hadn't got home yet. It took forever to get home.
