I wanted to take a minute and thank you Melanie for helping me and a friend out last week in Tootsies. You were very thoughtful and helpful getting her some alchol to clean up her busted eye. (fell down the steps.) We did appreciate your help! I also wanted to express my opinion on the voting....I do think the last two on the stage last night are the best singers. I have heard you live now a few times(once with my roomate last year) and I think you have a great voice. Nothing against the guys there, it just seems so watered down and generic. Pretty is ..is pretty does. I was on the front row at the Ryman last wed night to see the Hag. He is still 10 times the singer those boys will ever be and he had hat head, no gel, no corral necklaces, no pretty shirts, ....just the purist voice in country music today.
Anyway, thank you again. You rock!! Keep it up, we need some more great female singers in CM.

Last Tuesday night to me was awful. I would wait for Tuesday night just to hear Melanie sing. I would also agree that the last two waiting were the best. We will see her again you can't keep a voice like Melanie down for long. Someone one out there seen her that will give her the offer she has worked hard for. Melanie if you read this keep on pressing forward never look back.
