I took it upon myself and went to Jared's website where I heard what I was wanting. Him singing.... That to me is singing. save the horse ride the cowboy to me is not a song that you can truely get an idea of ones singing abilities.

I was hoping that he could sing and yes he can. I liked the website. And I like him too.

I happen to be a Casey fan but I just wanted to say I've watched Jared's blogs & have heard him sing. I think he is very nice looking. He seems sweet (oh and he can sing well)!
I'm disappointed with any of the contestants fans who put down someone who isn't their favorite...It seems you have had your share and this week it's Casey.
I think all of you are great and deserve to be here. I know there will be recording deals for all of you.

Yes, we all have our favorites - I have never met any of these NS contestants but my oldest daughter did meet Casey and he performed at their Christmas party. She told me he was awesome. So, I listened to his cds and he made a believer out of me. He sings Peace in the Valley & it gave me goose bumps. Does Jared sing gospel music too? Do you personally know Jared?

Anyway from Casey fan to Jared fan - best of luck and lots of prayers for both of them.

First...yes, Tina and I know Jared. Second...I've never heard Jared sing gospel, but that doesn't mean he doesn't, I guess. The bars aren't a big hot-spot for spontaneous breakouts of gospel music, I suppose. There are defintely a few songs that Jared's recorded that aren't technically gospel, but are very spiritual in theme.

I'll also agree with Tina that after Jared...Casey is probably my favorite. I like his voice and stage presence...but I LOVE his personality. That's the best thing about the blogs, they really let a lot more of that show. And I know Jared and Casey have become good friends during this show, which speaks volumes to me!

I agree that gospel songs in bars not good idea. I used to do lots of line dancing & don't think I ever did it to gospel songs.

Yes, I love their blogs...when I first saw Casey's new one I thought, that's not the same color as his patch under lip or his hair...sure hope someone will tell him it don't look good...I enjoy getting to see a side of them thru their blogs that we really don't get to see on stage. I sure wish they had more than 90 seconds to perform.

I was just listening to 'Cowboys and the Angels' on www.lahotcountry.com - off Jared's CD, and I tell you - if he would do a ballad like that on the show I can't believe Ms. Brown could find much fault...I wish they would let everyone sing then announce who won't be continuing...

He sings so much better than seems to be coming across on TV - I am hoping to see Chris, Jared, Casey and Kristin as the Final Four - then they will all get to go on the NS Summer Tour.
