Melanie, I don't know if you read the posts on this board, but I just wanted you to know that I was extremely sad to see you go tonight - it SHOULD NOT have been you, as far as I'm concerned!! But you know that this isn't the end, it's only the beginning...everyone could see what an amazing and rare talent you are and I know you have the brightest of futures ahead of you. It was such a joy to be able to listen to you sing and I really wanted to hear you sing some more. I've never been much of a country listener, but when you release your first CD, I'm definitely buying it!!!

You have an awesome voice, and this disappointment is just a little detour. I'm sure that your first goal on NS was to win to fans and to get a recording contract. I KNOW you won new fans...the contract can't be far away!
