Hello. I'm new here. I just wanted to know if any of you are members on www.friendster.com? If you are, please let me know because I have a JAG discussion group. Also, what the heck? "Friends" had DVD releases before it went off the air, right? So, why not release "JAG" on DVD?? I mean, really. I would be one of the first to buy that set! Does anyone agree with me?

Well there seems to be a Syndication contract that is preventing this.

Well....well...well...

They should just bury the hatchet and do it for the fans. I mean...think of all the revenue they would get!

Unfortunately, unless both parties to the contract decide to rewrite it, there's no way for them to "bury the hachet" so the fans can get DVDs. The other "problem" is that none of us fans know which entity is involved in the syndication deal that is partially preventing the DVD release. It could be the USA deal or the Hallmark deal or both.

At this point, the only thing any of us can do is to register at www.tvshowsondvd.com so we can vote on which shows we want DVDs for and write cards/letters to Paramount expressing our interest in the series.

Uhh I hope they release it SOMETIME in the near future. I hate having to wake up early to watch it on USA. Once school starts I won't be able to anymore! AHH!!!
