I missed it. I was talking to the dj at wtnk in Hartsville,TN and she said that she did an interview with Chris on air Tuesday morning. I believe she said she talked to Becky too. She also said she's started playing Drinkin Me Lonely on her morning show. I wish KK had let me know he was gonna be on so that I could have got up and listened.

Everyone who has a local morning show could call in on Tuesday mornings, talk about NS4 and mention Chris. If the DJ seems very interested, tell them that Chris is doing radio interviews and might could call in one week. Have them contact the Fan Club.

Great idea. The station I listen to talks about American Idol all the time, but not one word about Nashville Star, unless it's a news item (like Patty LaBelle being a judge). I think the problem is that one of the other major radio stations is involved with the show somehow. They gave away tickets to the NS4 concert on the night of the first show and one of their DJs was at the show this past week.

Hope everyone else out there is able to get some airtime for Chris.

In Nashville 98 is the official radio station for the show so they talk about it all the time.

Everybody - Chris is already doing quite a few interviews each week. There are stations in OK, WI, FL, TN, and MD that interview him every week and then some other stations in TX that are interviewing sporadically. Let us know what your local station is and we'll be happy to contact them. If Chris has played in your area before, there is a 99% change they'll interview him. WKDF (in particular Eddie Foxx on the morning show), WANT (Lebanon, TN both the morning show and the afternoon shows), WTKN (Hartsville), WJJM (Lewisburg), and WSIX in the Nashville area have all talked about him A LOT.

Every Tuesday you can tune into www.klaw.com online for hear the interview for that day in the noon hour. They have an internet feed.

Really? Cause I don't think I've heard them mention NS but once. Of course, I usually am only able to listen between 7-8 in the morning and 5-6 in the afternoon.

I guess Eddie must talk about Chris and Nashville Star after my commute to work. Like I said, they are all over the American Idol thing, but have only heard them mention Nashville Star when Lisa Manning does the news segment. I'm gonna have to call them on my way in and do a little chit-chat.

Sorry you don't believe me, but I've heard them and had about 25 other people call me to tell me that they heard them.

Becky...great idea to listen online. WKDF can be heard online as well at

WKDF radio

I mostly listen at night and when I'm in my car. But I've heard them mention the show several times. There giving away tickets all weekend long.

I found out last night that the interviews with Chris on WTNK in Hartsville,TN will be every Tuesday Morning til the end of the show(as long as he's still there which I'm sure he will be.)

WKDF almost mentioned Chris on Wednesday morning. They were talking about the AI Chris and then started to discuss NS but discovered that no one watched it. The comment was something like, "What about Nashville Star, did Chris....I don't know, I didn't watch it last night." Darn!!!

I would have called them to discuss the show, but I was at work by then and didn't have time. Next time I will though.

Sunny Country 102.5 FM would be a good one, they are online now too. If you wish I could contact Jay Turner about a call in with Chris, but I'm barely aquainted with him. Chris is a friend of theirs on myspace. They are a Clear Channel Station that plays many new artists. They also work with a network of 8 or 9 stations for the Nashville to You tour. So if you want the California market this station can really help Chris.
