1992----Herb Gardner's drama of a son's feelings about his harsh Jewish father opens on Broadway at the Royale Theatre. Conversations With My Father stars Tony Shalhoub, Judd Hirsch and David Margulies. It will close nearly a year later on Mar 14, 1993.

As a matter of fact, Tony received a Tony nomination for Best Featured (Supporting) Actor in a Play that year for his performance. He didn't win (I'm not sure who did), but I believe Judd Hirsch won for Best Actor for his role in that play.
