I must say that I do not agree. I think that Shy is very country, to the core! He might not be your kinda country, but he's gonna make it all the same.

I liked Shy too! I would like to have had him around longer to see where his brand of talent would take us. His style of country is hard to verbalize but he rubs me as a Mafia Man. Anyone that performs barefoot sets his own path in life.

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but Nashville is very much a political scene, plus they do not embrace anything not in their mold. The ones that are gone have unique characteristics, Shy is just one of the "victims" of Nashville's cookie cutter method of choosing who's hot and who's not. I thought he was great and hope he kicks some butt in the future.

I will have to agree here with ErwinG.....I was looking forward to seeing Shy's performance the next week. I am a Casey Rivers fan but admire Shy for his "staying true to himself"....He will go far barefeet and all

Oh how very very true!!! I cant believe some of the people that are still there while Jared and Shy are both gone. I really like the show and looked forward seeing it every week. Not because of the show that is for sure, but because of the talented Chris Young and Matt Mason!!! I was voting for Jared too but he was clearly robbed and I am sure NS can gives us some line of BS about how it was "fair" but really we all know the truth. Shy had real potential and I was looking forwarded to him lasting longer than he did, but I guess he may have been robbed because there is no way in the world that Nicole should still be there let alone on tour with the final four!!!!

Still upset with the politics of NS.
