With WrestleMania 22 days away and the WWE already trying to get the word out early by announcing the venue for next year's Wrestlemania 23 to be the huge Ford Field facility, would do you think would be *the* match that would make you attend or buy the event.
If they want to even have a remote chance of filling the place, the main event should be:

I would think it would be a Hogan Match and maybe with Austin. They wanted it for WM22 and it didn't happen. Maybe they've got it booked for Ford's Field and twisted Austin's Arm by saying he could be playing to over 60,000 people.

I agree, the only way to generate enough interest in a show to pack Ford Field would be a dream match situation like Hogan/Austin.

Even if Hogan/Austin doesn't happen at WM23, it will sellout the 60,000+ seats no problem. It's Wrestlemania, and there hasn't been a Wrestlemania that hasn't been good from top to bottom snce 1999. Wrestling fans from all over the world will go to see it.
Still, it's likely that the lure of 60,000+ fans and a record number of PPV buys will coax Hogan and Austin to work the match.
I'd also expect Cena vs Orton, or Orton vs Batista.

Hogan VS. Austin but I think Hogan would want to much money. He already indicated that at the Hall Of Fame induction. The fans started chanting Hogan- Austin and hogan gave the "Show me the money " sign. I guess Ted Dibiase has been right all these years. Everybody has a price.

as far as Hogan/Austin goes...
I was reading the other day that Hogan is all for working a match with Steve.
However, Steve has indicated numerous times that he has absolutely no interest in having a match against Hogan.
Austin was asked to do the match at WM22, and refused. Also, at the Hall of Fame ceremony, it has been reported that Austin and Michaels pointedly avoided Hogan.

I don't know. At the Hall of Fame when fans started chanting Austin-Hogan when Austin was inducting the "Hitman" Austin did do a little bit of trash talking on Hogan. Don't make to much out of them avoiding Hogan backstage. Remember that Hogan and Hart have always had some friction between them.My understanding is that the "Hitman" is not the only Babyface who did not like Hogan. Remember that Hogan is the one who told Vince that the wrestlers were trying to unionize and he was getting better treatment than they were so he was just watching out for himself and protecting his preferred status. Alot of people felt that Hogan betrayed them and stabbed them in the back.

Can anyone tell me how to get tickets without paying over $200.00 for the cheap seats? I would like to get 2 seats for WM23. It is only about 6 hours from where I am now and I would like to surprise my wife next year. Since I went this year and she didn't. hehehe. If anyone could help me out with this for WM23 and the Hall of Fame induction I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, I've heard those rumors myself. That leads to one conclusion -- it will be a match between Hogan -- and somebody else. (Unless they can convince The Rock and Austin to come back and do one more match -- but The Rock would really make Austin look old and weak)
No matter what they are going to need a huge match for Ford's Field. They can sell the tickets no matter what -- but it just calls for something big.
Hogan owes Vince a match as part of his Summer Slam match with HBK -- It might just have to end up being Hogan vs. Cena!

2007 is shaping up to be huge. WWE has planned some nice anniversary shows.
The Royal Rumble will be from San Antonio, TX, ten years since it eminated from the Alamo Dome in San Antonio.
Of course we know about Wrestlemania in Detroit, twenty years since the Pontiac Silverdome show.
Summerslam 2007 will be held in Madison Square Garden. It will also be the 20th Summerslam, after the event started in 1988.
Meanwhile, Survivor Series 2007 will be held in Montreal, ten years removed from the Bret Hart incident. *raises eyebrows*
