Monique is wonderful and I am glad to hear she had a few offers...she'll go far! Her voice is totally awesome! She was voted off and Nicole Jamrose got to stay...hmmmm. I think the judges need to decide who goes and who stays even with the public votes! Keep your chin up Monique!

You know part of me thinks this is better for Monique though. She is really such a telented young lady.

I'm not surprised about how the country voted. I think this is a prime example of our society as a whole. If a woman is overweight, or simply not "good looking," she will have a harder time getting ahead. This is not limited to show business. I think the country knows Monique sings better than the barbie's of the world.

I thought Monique was great when she sang... I'm sorry to see her go, but glad to hear she has opportunities

I don't think it really has anything to do with what she looks like at all. It's a musical show and from the way the fans are voting(I can't vote, I'm Canadian), they're voting for people that are the best performers. I'll agree that yes, she has an awesome voice and she'll definitely go far, but watching her, she just seemed sort of mechanical and theatrical, especially with her first performance. One of the judges said it; it's not just the voice, it's the performance as well and I just think that watching her, frankly, is a little boring.

She is still in Nashville. She will be at the show tonight with me. As for her offers that cannot be discussed. But keep your eyes open, you won't regret it. As for her first performance, she probably wanted to be unique from everyone else and I think she achieved just that. Her performance was excellent and very memorable.

well.. Anastasia has already said in her latest blog, that she recieved an e-mail from the Casting Director for the Major Motion Picture "Hairspry", and that they flew her to Baltimore to audition... she is suppose to mention what happend in her next blog.. Good Luck Monique!!

One thing for sure she was in Nashville tonight as they showed her singing along to Wynonna's song in the audience.
