I thought it would be cool if we did a didya notice thread. Whre we could get together and talk about mistakes and onscreen bloopers the show made.

Like for instance didya notice that Sarah was nowhere to be found in Instinct?

Or that in Speak Now when Johnny is in the coma and Sarah Bends down and kisses him he puckers his lips?

Any others?

I can't think of any right now, but we're going to watch some more of Season 2 on DVD and I'll keep my eyes open.

There are alot of those little moments. Usually I smile when I see them.

Didya notice that John's right arm got cut in the climactic scene in Shadows but when he's seen fishing later his left arm is bandaged?

Didya notice he got kicked in the right knee in A Very Dead Zone Christmas but in the wide shot he's seen rubbing his left knee?

And my biggest personal pet peeve. Didya notice that all these characters are supposed to be from Maine and they can't pronounce Bangor correctly? It's pronounced with an 'or' sound on the end, not an 'er' sound. My in-laws live in Maine. I cringe every time Walt or John gives the name of that city and I find it extremely odd that both Richard Lewis and Sarah Wynter pronounced it correctly during their time on the series.

I wonder if they reversed some of the shots on the computer, for artistic reasons, without thinking about that? Or, somebody thought nobody would notice -- but fans do notice these things, don't they?

Well, that is a funny one. Hm, Sarah Wynter is Australian, and had to learn an "American" accent for 24. Maybe it was a Maine accent? (Do we know where Rebecca Caldwell is supposed to have grown up?) As for Richard Lewis, assuming Jack Jericho grew up in the area, maybe he just went to the trouble to learn the appropriate pronunciation? Who knows?

Nitpicker's Guide to The Dead Zone , anybody?

None of the actors/actresses on this show, use any kinda of Maine accent!!! I should know! Having lived in Maine my whole life!!! They have kinda of a southern accent, which is totally off! LOL And the sets how awful, none of the sets even look like Maine!

I love the show and the concept, but they should have done more research on Maine!!
