This is such a good game. But I went nuts when it went into overtime. And God, I thought Thomas was really hurt badly but I think it's just leg cramps. It's looking good for LSU but I won't relax until there's 0 time left on the clock. Fingers crossed!!!

It really looks good for LSU...I hope they win...they need to start milking the clock they are shooting too quick...I just think the injury to the LSU player is just cramps...he needs fluid and he will be ok...
daisygirl
Yeah, they have taken a few ill-advised shots. They will have to try to negate some of that as they advance to better teams who'll make them pay for that. And Thomas looks like he's okay now.
IrishEyes
Congrats...they won...

YESSSSSSS!!! It' over finally. LSU in the Final Four, I can't believe it. God, I just love the way they play, hard and relentless.

Oh I'm so glad you're rooting for them too. They really are playing hard and above their experience being that many of them are only freshmen. I hope UConn goes but part of me wants us to play them, to beat the best. Crazy, I know.
IrishEyes
that isn't crazy...if LSU was my team I would want to beat the best then everyone could say you are true champions...they couldn't say you may have won, but we are a better team...but they call it march madness for a reason...the best team doesn't always win...nothing against LSU...Pat Summit said it the best when she said "Survive and advance...anything can happen in March..."

So completely true. That's why so many people love it, because anybody can win. It doesn't matter what you did all season, all that matters is how you play today.

And about beating the best, LSU had an issue with that a couple of years ago. LSU and USC were the two best teams in college football, but because of the stupid BCS rankings system, they didn't play each other for the championship. LSU played in the BCS championship (Sugar Bowl) and won the national championship. USC, who I think was undefeated played in the Rosebowl and won. But alot of people thought USC should have went to the Sugar Bowl to play LSU. Some even thought because USC didn't lose a game they were simply the best. Frankly, LSU plays in a tough division SEC, where anybody can beat any team on any given day. USC often plays teams that are not in the same league, so just about every year they are undefeated. Anyway, by the end of the whole thing people were saying that we had two champions LSU and USC. Would never have happened if they'd have let the best play the best. Anyway, that's why I think it'd be cool to beat the best.
