I've read a lot about how people think that Det. Logan does not belong on L&O CI, Well I love the fact that Det. Logan Has join the CI cast, it bring a hole new feel to the show and as a long time of the fan L&O'S we should give him a chanceand that's not to taking any thing away from Det. Goran & Eames to add to them as well I do so much love Det. Gorean way of catiching the bad guy's and girl's dont ever stop. And I'd like to see both det.Gorean and Det.Logan work togather again so don't be a Logan hater.

I dont think people hate Logan as much as they dislike Barek, I'm a huge Logan fan and enjoy watching him, but his partner has got to go !!!

I actually like Det Mike Logan a lot. I was a fan of his back on the original series. I watch all of the CI epsodes whether they have Goren and Eames or Logan and Berek. My passion for the show however comes from the fact that Vincent D'Onofrio created such an interesting character that "I fell in love" with that character. That makes anyone coming on board a bit of a threat! I did really like the eposode that had the two teams together. I thought that was one of the best Law and Order episodes ever (in all 3 series)!!!!!

I agree. "In the wee small hours" was one of my favorite eppies of CI. I liked how the characters worked mostly with their partners, but they also worked with each other's partners. Like Bobby and Mike going to the poker game in the bathroom. But I mostly like Bobby and Alex together.

Hey, I just turned on NBC and it's a new "CI," but then I saw it's one w/o Logan and Barek, so I'm gonna turn it off and read a book instead, or watch paint dry.

Are you talking about the episode Sunday March 26? If so, it was a Goren and Eames episode. You better watch for the rerun on here on USA if you didn't watch.

I know it was a Goren/Eames, that was my point. I was trying to be funny on account of all the anti-Logan/Barek whining that's been posted.

I've always hated Logan. I hated him on the orginal Law & Order. He's a loud mouth bully. Some women are attracted to that "bad boy" thing he has going on but that crap repells me. I think bad boys are indeed "Baby boys because they're not real men, IMO.

Actually I find his presence in this season's LOCI very refreshing. He's the only thing that makes the Logan/Barek episodes worth watching since she has the personality of a dish rag.

If you're referring to Barek, be advised she most likely will NOT be back next year if LOCI is renewed. Subtle is one thing, lifeless and indifferent is another. Unfortunately, Barek has been the latter, and is on the verge of being CANNED.

I dont see Barek as being subtle, shes just plain BLAH. I'm sure they wrote the character as somewhat of a sidekick to Logan, but shes slackin to even get that. Her "subtleness" sucks.

Did you ever see the first Season Two episode of Law & Order? The one where Logan's partner is shot to death and Mike has to deal with it? That's the first time you see a different, deeper side of Logan that doesn't emerge very often during his time on Law & Order. On L&O:CI, he actually starts learning to use that side on the job, thanks in part to his new partner Barek. (You know, the "bland" detective that a few viewers seem to love to hate?)

I am warming up to Logan.....but Barek.... not so sure.
But if alternating cast means Vincent will stay on I guess I am ok with it...

Yeah, I saw the part where Logan's partner was killed. He can mourn a loss like anyone else but, it still doesn't change who he is. Or make me like him any more. I rarely watch the Barek/Logan episodes but, what I have seen from them, I actually like Barek. I'd rather Logan go than her.

Well... I do not imply anything. I just analyze what you said. In the other post, you said that Goren changed, he became "ignorant"; here you say you don't like Logan... Sorry, I'm just used to people jumping on me when I say I don't like cetain things about CI or episodes of CI.
I think you got the impression I don't like CI because you've only read of my dislike of a few eps and Logan, so I guess your conclusion makes sense in a way but, you haven't seen my other posts either. LOL
Goren has changed, IMO, and I said he was ignorant in "Want and Semi", I didn't say he was ignorant elsewhere, I said he was just different.
CI isn't filled with characters I dislike, I like Eames, Deakins, and Carver. I like Barek too. I don't dislike Goren, although he can irritate me at times. I just despise Logan and Nicole. And I rarely watch the Logan episodes. And thank God Nicole isn't on everyweek...

Eames is great, tough as nails.
Deakins is also very cool. Knows his way around the politics -- a swamp, that is hard and dangerous to tread.
Carver gets on my nerves at times. He can be too uptight.
I am sorry, I love Goren, unconditionaly... I guess I just look at him from the different viewpoint. It's OK.
But I am mainly an SVU girl. Most SVU fans love Benson/Stabler duo, but I am all for Munch/Fin. As you probably deduced from my screenname, I am a huge fan of Rivhard Belzer and Det. John Munch.
It's nice talking to you, I like pople who both have a viewpoint and can defend it well.

There are penty of boars with the "Don't you dare make any complaints or critisms" mentality. It's one of the reasons I don't post too much on boards. Debating and having conversations are fun but impossible to have with obsessed fans.
