I was really hoping that he would make a deep run. I think if honor of his fans letting him down I will go out and order his cd's.

I have to say that I liked Shy and I am disappointed to see him go.

But I am sure he will go far in this business.

I am so sorry to see Shy go home, people did not get the opportunity to see & hear what Shy can do.

I have a felling that we are missing out on a great talent. There was something about this young man that none of the others had...I don't know what it is but it was something. I hated to see him go. Maybe it was the "Skynyrd" connection. I'll have to check out his CD. I have faith that he will be back! Because he DID belong and he DOES deserve it.

I was sad to see Shy go because I believe he has a load of talent we will not get to see now; that is until he re-surfaces again to show the world his wonderful talents. I don't have any of Shy's CDs, but I plan on getting the two he has out.
I believe xmaskat that we will enjoy them.

I simply don't understand how in the world you can say that! Anybody who has the talent, drive, and God-given gift to pass the screening/audition process of INFORMED and KNOWLEDGEABLE music industry professionals "deserves" to be on the program. While I understand that you may not have enjoyed his performance, that certainly does not grant you the right to be so scathing and argumentative in your tone. I only pray that you do NOT receive the same type of condemnation if and when you attempt to realize your dream.

hey ratkinso, he's not the only one who acts like their idol in the business (look at 90% of the other performers this season). sorry you were offened, and me wish you did vote for him.

I liked his performance last week, I believe that anyone on the show should at least get to perform their song, then be told that he/she was eliminated. I think he is a little too "rock" for country, but hey, he is a great performer, he definately has a career. Thanks to everyone who mentioned his CD..I will look for it.

I was extremely disappointed to see Shy go. Everything I have heard about him is positive, and he did add a truly unique approach to country/Southern rock music. Hopefully he will stick around Nashville though, or at least come through during the next few weeks, to support the contestants he got to know and become friends with. I know there is one contestant who is very, very disappointed to see him go because they did get to be such good friends.

Shy...will be looking for you to make huge waves on the radio some day in the future, hopefully sooner rather than later.

its a sad day for me ... I wish I could have seen more of Shy on stage ... can't wait to get the CD's I ordered from him and hear him ...
