I have to say I never thought I would see the day I would have tears in my eyes from someones kind words on a tv show like this. First off Monique has a great voice and she looked very classic country in the dress she wore. She doesn't need glam to get noticed.
I must say I lost respect for john rich, perhaps if he would have straight out said what was on his mind instead of kitty footing around like the coward he showed himself to be then I wouldn't be left with this disappointing feeling that I now have.
I do so love Wy's words that she had for Monique," Monique never let them tell you who you are, and before I say anything else I just have to say Monique you are so much more than a number on a scale. You hear me? ...You're one of the hardest working women I've met. You work 3 jobs and you just keep on keeping on. And you keep on keeping on and I'm gonna tell you somethin I'll work with ya I'll tour with ya."
Now if those words aren't a royal SCREW YOU! in john richs' face I don't know what is. I have never been so throughly amazed and impressed with anyone in the media/entertainment industry than I was at that precise moment. It literally brought a tear to my eye and I have to say Wynonna gained some wonderful points in my book. I know I will not be rushing out to support Big & rich like I once did.

So glad that Wynonna is there and working with the contestants. Her words to Monique were simply "priceless".

MidniteWoman I don't know who or where you are, and I'm not sure I want to, the mystery is kind of exciting. But I am most definitely glad you are here! I have to agree with both of you! I've never liked Big&Rich and the very idea of them telling someone else that they are not country! Wy is going to be a tremendous asset to this show! She had so many positive things to say to the contestants and the gift baskets...that was so thoughtful!

I agree, I couldn't love Wy any more at this point, she is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Her and Monique would make a great touring team because they are both awesomely talented and kind. I know Wy would be a great mentor for Monique and I for one would love to go to a show or two of thiers.

I take it back, I love her more, she was so beautiful. And soooo was Monique!
