I just wanted to say I thought Kristen was teriffic at the taping Tuesday night.
While Anastasia may not have thought she made a good choice for her "first impression" I disagree. She showed herself doing something probably few of the others could do. She' got more episodes to show her talents on other types of songs.

I agree. And since when was "Cowboy's Sweetheart" a Patsy Montana song, NOT nashville? Come on Anastasia! It's exactly what Nashville music was founded on. Duh?

Every child that goes to nashville can sing that song. She could have showed more creativity.

That is not really true. They might try too but the yodeling isn't the easiest thing to pull off and she did with ease.

You are right about that, Tiff.
I think she did a good job, and I think if she wanted to sing that song, this was really her only time to do that song unless they have a Classics night. Most of the viewers hearing/seeing her for the first time will put her in a different category after her second performance.

Kristen is the most talented singer on Nashville Star. She has the best voice I have ever heard and if she doesn't win it is because Nashville doesn't know what to do with real talent. You Go Baby and don't let anyone stop you. I will be voting for you on Tue.

As you can tell by my Username, I'm a die-hard CY fan, but I enjoyed Kristin's performance! I was as befuddled about the judges' comments as all of you but they got boo'd for it too.
Can't wait to see what happens on the 21st.

I agree... I thought Kristen did a great job. Anastasia deserved to be booed on that one! Wait until you hear the other comments by the other judges on the other contestants... you will see they aren't the "brightest crayons in the box" either. LOLOLOL

and I not even sure if some of the judges are 'in the box'! lol

I beg to differ with you on that opinion. Yodeling is very hard to do, it took me a few years to learn how to do it. I think she kicked butt on Cowboy Sweetheart, and I love the way she yelled out faster at the end of it and really took off with the yodeling. I enjoyed her singing, I enjoyed her performance so I think she is going to be around for quite some time. As far as Anastacia's comments go, I don't think that friggen woman would know what "country" was if it slapped her in the face. Well ok the yodeling popped her upside the head, and she didn't consider it country. OMG what do you have to do now a day's get up there and do "hickhop" ?!? JMHO
