Hi I am new to the board and as I was watching last night's episode on NBC I was just thinking that maybe his character could start something romantically with the shrink. But then I thought he's just seperated from his wife, right? or did she divorce him? Another thought I had was what about him and benson falling in love? they've been a team for all these years why not make them get together and STAY together. Just my opinion.

yah i really think him and benson should get together they're so cute! i think the show would be even better if they were, but maybe they haven't put them together yet to keep the audience watching and waiting for it to happen

I think the thought of Elliot and Olivia getting together is cute, but it actually happening, would ruin the show. If a break up occurs, then one of them would most likely want to transfer out, or if by some strange luck, marriage, then one of them would definatley HAVE to leave the Manhattan SVU because you cannot work in the same department as your spouse.

I think Elliot needs to stay single for a while to gather his thoughts and not jump into another relationship too soon. Olivia, however, I think would be nice to see with somebody who can give her the stability she needs in her life.

Then the crime show that it is supposed to be will just turn into another drama.

There are soooo many posts about this topic already, but I don't want Liv and El to be together. I don't really want to see them date anybody. I really don't want El and Liv though. Personally I think it would totally ruin the show.

i agree, leave love out of their relationship.

i disagree i think it would be great if they started something!!! i personally would watch the show more often ! even tho i already watch it often but u know like reruns and stuff but dats just my opinion

but why do you watch it, i watch it because it is original it isnt centered on someone's relationship like most shows, thats what makes it so good. if they started something between them then it would become like any other show and would not grab my attention as much.

well form the beginning since dr. hendricks arrived i thought that stabler and her had a connection. i alsways thought they should hook up. stabler really needs that. Also i defently dont think bensona nd stabler should get together reasons why:

1. the show is suppose to be in a way "real" so that cant happen for sure. it is s proven fact that detectives cant have relationships.

2. then the show wouldnt be focusing wat it is suppose to be focusing on helping people not they're love life, why do u think they dont show any of the family scenes as much or maybe not at all, b/c the show isnt about personal issues its about crime.

3.from the beginning i thoug of that but i never approved of it. No guys not b/c i want him to be mine , but b/c it just wouldnt feel rite.

Stabler's marriage in definitely on the rocks. His wife moved out last season and took the kids. Last we heard she was living with her mom. Upcoming episodes will touch on some of Stabler's family life, but I don't see his marriage repairing itself.

As for the potential E&O onscreen relationship, I seriously doubt that would ever happen. For one thing, neither of the actors want it to happen. Chris has been very vocal about it being a 'jump the shark' moment for the show if it were to happen.

a lot of laddies who had guest stared on the show flirted with elliot. like the strink we all know, and benson sometimes, but i would like them to get together. i wanted the csu lady from the episode "name" for them to get together because the csu lady really liked him, also a cute couple.

Yeah I would love Stabler and Benson to get together but I think that, that would ruin the show and it would have a soap operay feeling to it. And i did read that both Mariska and Chris are against the hook-up. But i would r eally enjoy it if he does find a love interest jjust noy in Dr. Hendrix. ALSO Benson needs to get an interest too.

Hendrix is too young for Stabler? How do you figure that? Since we don't have specific ages on the characters we'll have to make do with the ages of the actors, MSM is 5 years younger the CM. Unless there's a major emotional/mental problem that causes an imbalance in a relationship, that's not "too young" at any age, except maybe teens and twenties.

[edit] I read that wrong, I thought you, vivi, were referring to Hendrix. I hadn't caught the part about CSU Tech Millie Vizcarrondo. Even still, the actor is only 12 years younger than Chris, still not too young when you consider one is in her 30s and the other in his 40s. My dad's wife is 20 years younger than him and I couldn't think of a more perfect match.

No, people get confused because there are posters here that refuse to use little things like commas, capital letters and close-to-accurate spellings. Plus, if you notice, I *did* realize my error and fixed it.

yeah i agree i dont even remember when the last time he went home.he stayed at the station house one episode.

I would love forel and liv to hook up,and i dont think it would ruin the show at all,they could still focus on the crime and just have 2or3 moments between them in an episode and if they did break up it would'nt be awkward for them because they have such a good relationship they would remain best friends.
