I haven't decided who to vote for yet ... until I see all the finalists perform ... but I am sure Jewels will shine all the way

I totally agree!!!! , but she got done wrong on tonights show... the judges are crazy, crazy, crazy to vote her off. she rocks... GO JEWELS....

We are in shock!!! She was the best performer tonight. Why is it that 4 guys sound exactly alike and they are still there but Jewels who was unique, energetic, spunky and performed amazingly well got the boot. The show won't be as interesting now at all. I've lost faith in the Judges!!!

NO DOUBT!!! I've personally known Jewels for almost over 8 years now and EVERY TIME I watch her perform, her energy, her excitement, and her talent totally stand out!!! To be voted off tonight is a total sham!!!

Well since my favorite gal was booted, and to me, she had an outstanding performance, vocal was rough at the very beginning but a lot of them were full of nerves just as much and it showed. Some who normally have an A game weren't so "A" game tonight but Jewels REALLY knows how to work her stage and command attention, still think she was one of the best female voices on the show:)

Taya I agree with you, she's one lady that I thought did great. I loved her performance. I'm sad she got voted off.

I totally agree with u!!! I don't think the judges liked her because she was too real and had a real voice. I thought about Janis Joplin when she was singing. Do ya'll know who Janis Joplin was. She was the bomb! Jewels has that raspy voice. I thought she rocked it!! Who does Anastasia think she is, Simon from American Idol. I don't like her opinions at all!

Needing to vent a sec, which I NEVER do on these boards but...I don't think the comment by Anastasia was kind AT all..."my ears are bleeding?

I teach voice, I think Jewels is awesome but
I will be the FIRST to admit...the key was way to low for her range in the beginning but she recovered and tore it up... really! I was very impressed by her presentation
My producer could not believe she was voted off, not knocking ANY of the talent because they are all good or they wouldn't be there, but Jewels has the "it" factor... unique vocals and TERRIFIC stage presence and was one of the best gals on the show!
Sad for her but then anyone watching could see how talented she is so hopefully she'll get a deal anyhow!

Actually....the reason the "Answer" was posted on web site when Californians went to "vote" is that the East Coast show aired and finished by 8 pm PST. How does this allow any of Jewels' fans to vote in except for her Nashville fans, when the whole Saddlerack didn't get to see her perform until AFTER she was voted off???

My other Q's:
-Several of the guys performing were VERY "stiff" on stage and had little stage presence (A very important part of being a performer!) and were told as much by the judges....
As well, I thought they sounded like clones of each other?!! UGH terrrible!

-Monique, although great voice, I agree sounded wayyy better for American Idol, was she country at allll?? And she didn't really have much "energy" on stage....just sorta stood there. I think it would of been controversial to vote her off right away though...bad for ratings ...but just a thought.

-Is it just me, or did the judges keep emphasizing the other girls' looks rather than performance?? This is my never-ending Q I always have, do you have to be a "model" to be a female performer? Like they only kept Monique on show so there was one "overweight" girl? And even she is pretty?? Not allowed to be on TV if yoy are not? Anyways, still annoyed because she is SOO NOT country!!

-The girl from Napa, I agree that song choice was ridiculous! Kinda cool that it showed she could be versatile but she should of maybe shown she could be versatile AFTER she intro'ed herself to the crowd with her first impression??

-Personally, I think Jewels did VERY GOOD!! I think she by FAR had the best stage persence and interaction with the audience, which she definitely has tons of practice with 3 nights per week and opening for tons of bay area concerts. And what a difficult song choice to start with and she ROCKED it!! I was so proud and excited for the show since the ratings would of sky rocketed from her energy and then I was shocked that they just blew the whole season. I won't be watching anymore this season because what is the point. Other contestants are horrible!

-OK, sorry, like to critique performances.....somewhat of a local band roadie as I follow several local bands around = )
And I think it sucks that CALI didn't get a vote??!! What the heck???
