Hey Teresa,
What happened to your reviews of each show? You did such a great job with those. I loved the details! Is it just too time-consuming?
Just wondering!

So much Monk, so little time. Just been too busy, but I have notes on all of them and I'll get them done. I will say that I've loved all the episodes this season and I'm starting to grow concerned that I wouldn't know a bad Monk episode if I saw one. Or maybe it's like a "bad" Marx Brothers' film: even the worst is better than everyone else's best.
Thanks for asking.

I would like to say that I too miss your reviews Teresa, and I'm looking forward to reading them again.
I am also a Marx Brothers fan. Have you read Groucho's or Harpo's autobiographies? They are good, out of print now though. I don't know if I can pick a favorite movie of theirs...maybe Animal Crackers, I love the Hurray For Captain Spaulding song.

Teresa,
You can add me to the list of those that miss your reviews.

Harpo Speaks is one of my all time favorite books. I have a paperback and a hardback edition. I also have everything Groucho ever wrote and numerous biographies by others. My favorite film, I can't choose. Favorite song, undoubtedly Lydia the Tattoed Lady from At the Circus or any Chico piano solo.

Pretty neat, Teresa, fellow Marx Brothers fan! I had to put an ad in the paper to find Harpo Speaks! It's a great book and it gives you a feel of how it was back then, the vaudeville circuit , the times, how poor many people were.
My friend and I used to tape record Chico's piano solos, then go to the music store, buy the sheet music for it, and attempt to learn it on the piano. I learned lots of old songs that way. ( This was in the Chicagoland area about 35 years ago...they showed a Marx Brothers movie every week on tv. Then they stopped, and me and my friend made a petition to have the movies put back on the air. We went to all our neighborhood and had people sign it.) I even was going to take harp lessons, but the waiting list was over a year, so I didn't do it.
Yes, the Marx Brothers have been a big influence in my life!
