I have a theory ...that since both Isabel and Kyle arn't official 4400's but seem to have got mixed up with them anyway... that maybe Both were possibly sent by some OTHER entity other than that of which sent the actual 4400....So if the 4400's mission is to SAVE the world and someone ELSE sent back Kyle and Isabel..then their mission might be totally different...ie : DESTROY the world.....but Both Kyle and Isabel have a definite Link to the 4400 ,as opposed to the rest of the world who has just merely came into contact with them after they were brought back.
Isabel wasn't an original 4400, but came back in the womb of one....maybe unbenounced to the people of the future...so she might very well be a "stowaway"...put there by someone other than the people that sent back the original 4400. Kyle's link on the other hand is that he was actually originally chosen by the people of the future...but that night him and Shawn were at the beach...Shawn stepped in and interfered just as the people from the future were about to take Kyle...so instead they "grabbed" Shawn.....but since Kyle was left mid-transition he was left in a coma. I have tons of other therories...this is just one of many.I love to hear any input on this......

In the Finale of Season 1, they said Kyle was meant to be a conduit between the Future and Tom. Shawn interrupted that process. What I'd really like to know is. Did they ever intend to take Shawn or Kyle? Since the process of making Kyle a conduit was interrupted, they might not have ever intended to take either one. Which begs the question ... why was Shawn taken? Maybe they only took him, and gave him his power so he could wake up the conduit. Kyle may be working for the bad guys now, though, cause they never said if he was still a conduit, if he is, it's possible the bad guys are using that connection to take him over at certain times to do their bidding.

I need so much more info. I'm totally willing to wait for it though, I just enjoy the show too much

Well now that Kyle obviously seems altered...do we know if he was even telling the truth to Tom about being the "messenger" from the future??Maybe he just told Tom what he wanted Tom to think.

I have another theory in the evil Izzy thread

Wait...does that mean there's actually only 4398??
Evilwonderwoman
No ,it still means there's 4400...it's just Kyle and Isabel are extra....or not part of the official 4400 at all....but either way without them there is still 4400(atleast there were untill they all started dying off...hehe)

I've thought of this theory, too, but Life Interrupted confuses it. If the PFTF sent Alana to help Tom through his upcoming crisis, then it means they knew about Kyle and could, theoretically, have prevented what he did. That they didn't stop Kyle suggests he did what was needed. After all, Collier is now a martyr and the Center is getting a huge influx of support as a result. Of course, if he was meant to die, why taunt poor Maia with a vision of his death? Then again, it wasn't until after Collier's death that they used Alana. It's so confusing!

The idea that, even in the desperate future, all of humanity is of one mind seems a bit far fetched to me. There are people now who look forward to the end of the world, why not then? So the theory that there's a group among the PFTF who want the 4400 to fail makes sense to me.

Yeah, I want to know more about the PFTF, who is on the board of directors there? Is there one omnipotent being controlling everything or is there a delegation making executive decisions? Why would Kyle need to be a conduit to Tom? Is this all about Tom? Is he actually the one that is going to save the future and all of this is leading up to that? Let's think about how these different returnees have had an effect on him...
