I can suffer through the change to Natalie, I can suffer through the change in Trudy actress, and I can eve suffer through the change in theme song, but having Stott driving instead of Randy is the last straw. I couldn't believe the depths the show has sunk to with I saw Stott driving in Goes Home Again. I mean come on. That would never happen in real life. I use to watch Monk for the reality of life of a detective in San Francisco, but now I just can't do it. How can they make a change like that? I know that all of you are thinking the same thing, so I think we should all write in and complain to TPTB. How is Randy suppose to have his first car chase if he isn't driving? Join me in the Let Randy Drive protest.

hey- this post is da bomb--- randy really does need to be appreciated more (teehee)-- he is a cutie but as long as monk . randy, natalie, capt. and all the gang are there- you KNOW where you will find me on friday nights--

I didn't even notice that Randy wasn't driving in that episode, and I've watched it 3 times! How is Randy supposed to get his first real car chase? You're right!

Didn't Randy drive Stottlemeyer in "Sleeping Suspect" and "Paperboy," too? I can't remember if he drove Stottlemeyer in "The Girl Who Cried Wolf," but I know he had to drive Varla home when the clock struck 5:00 p.m. west coast time as that was her quitting time (no exceptions)!!
