For those who have e-mailed riverkountry@aol.com, No, Casey Rivers is not married. Yes I know that on some people's web site and on goggle it shows him with who is now his x wife. He was hurt DEEPLY but he is full time back into his music and life!

Awwww! I am so sorry to hear that Casey had to go through a divorce. I have been through one myself and it is always quite painful and even worse when there are children involved. Casey seems like a very wonderful person though and he is a good looking man. I have no doubt that someday, when he is ready, he will find a woman who totally completes him and she will be a very lucky woman indeed!

any chance of he and Miranda Lambert hooking back up? Okay, I doubt he wants to hook up with anyone right now after going through that, but even without the hook up i would love to hear them sing together.

I don't know about Jared, but I know Casey dated Miranda in HS. There is a picture of them on his web site in a recording studio with the caption "....then girlfriend."

I don't know if Miranda and Casey will ever date again but they have remained friends. They use to sing together at different places, I would love to see them do a professional recording of "As far as love goes" it's an original song that they recorded with them singing and Rick Lambert playing the guitar. I think a remake on that song would be awesome, I know alot of people that love it. He has people asking him to sing it at their weddings.

Your exactly right! He has already wrote a song that came from his divorce, and another song from someone else's marriage problems. He said you can listen to people's situations (good or bad situations) and songs come to you. Hopefully the rest of his songs that come from him will be happy ones!

Laneigh, I hope all of Casey's dreams come true! He will be a mega star! I hate to hear that he was hurt, but I am glad that he can use the experience to help his music. God has a plan for him and special person just for him. I would love to hear him sing Rascal Flatt's God Blessed the Broken Road. (how awesome would it be if he could duet it with Carrie Underwood?)

I'm sorry you had to go through a divorce, been there, done that. Casey has become leary, cautious....through it all. I'm thankful the good Lord gave Casey music to help him heal and go on. He was one of the most awesome husbands I have EVER scene in my life, anyone that knows him, knows that! One day, some lucky lady is going to be blessed! If you stay stuck in the past, you miss out on today and tomorrow! So I have encouraged him to go full speed ahead!

The only people I know of that Miranda has dated (gone together)since high school (Josh Johnson and Casey Rivers in HS) is Jeffery Allen and some other guy (foreigner looking) As far as just dating and going out, I don't know

He actually sung that at a friends wedding! Yes it was beautiful!!! He would love to do a duet with Carrie Underwood, he thinks she has a down to earth personality and he does not care to be around snoody people. It's a big turn off to him.

I think they are pretty much the same age. If you see her in person you could tell. I don't think the concert pictures did her justice. She is a very pretty girl(but you would not expect anything less from Casey).

I just find it so hard to believe all judges made comments about Casey having the best voice in this competition and it turned out this way???????????But know Casey will be good at whatever the road of life takes him. Awww! I'm so sad to hear that Casey's been so deeply hurt! He strikes me as a wonderful guy with a beautiful heart. Any girl would be incredibly blessed to have him! I'd love that girl to be me someday, but I have to be realisitc! I wish him all the best in his music and in life. He's in my prayers! By the way, his pure, amazing voice has brought tears to my eyes on more than occasion.

Laneigh we are all so very proud of Casey. I have to tell you, he's just been awesome this entire season. I thought he would win but know God has other plans for him.
I don't think people will forget who was 2nd place this year for a long time....he was great and I'm so proud to be a Casey fan. God Bless you, Casey & all family and friends,
