I know that Roy Hay does DeadZone music. However, there is no credit given beyond Roy's name. I am totally enthralled with the song at the end of "Shaman" (Season One, episode #12). It's in a Native American tongue and it's beautiful. I am wondering if anyone knows how to obtain the artist or song title?

Yes, it is a beautiful song. The title is Ay He Nockio by Chris and Deanna Gestrin. You can find in on the original sound track from season 1 of the Dead Zone, track 10. It only available at buysoundtrax.com and the going price is $14.95.
Btw welcome to the boards!

They used to have a download sample on the TDZ main page, I wish they still did. The soundtrack version has a woman singing who wasn't featured on the show.

Also probably on Amazon.com. I know I've seen it as Barnes & Noble. So check out your local good bookstore w/ CDs or music stores, too.

I had a feeling it would be on the soundtrack. Just haven't ordered it yet. Thanks a million! I'm very much looking forward to it. I have Native American heritage and love the music.

It's one of my favorite episodes as well. I have a bit of Native American too, from Canada. Which explains why I've always sided with them in any movie or story!
You might also check on Ebay for the soundtrack and for any of Chris's other CD's, I check there fairly often. I did find 2 CD's several months ago but missed the auction, forgot about it.
BTW there are 2 CD's from the first season. One is Music from Season One which is the one that I'm referring too and the other is Music from and Inspired by the hit series 'The Dead Zone'. That one has 6 ft. Under by The Woods which was used in 'The Last Goodbye'.
