Did anyone see him? That voice was driving me nuts! I knew I'd heard it! AMH had to reproduce it! This guy was in "Still Life", the reclusive painter!

And here I thought I was going to be the first person to post this. LOL, I should have known! I heard that voice and my brain started spinning. His 24 role is not listed on imdb.com but it was him. aka Andrew Lyne on "Still Life"

Well, I never watch 24, not a complete episode anyway, I did enjoy Patrick's voice on "The Pretender". He was one of the reason's I watched in the first place.

Hi,
Yes I saw him- I posted this on another string somewhere here! I was watching the scene and looking at him and even said to my hubby, "where do I know him from??"- then I remembered...Still Life from DZ. Another DZ guest star showing up on "24"- its like the 6th one isn't it?

I watched the Pretender when it was on and my kids and I were so upset when it went to cable after NBC cancelled it. Love that show. and I love Patrick Bauchau. He was on House earlier in the season. He died on that show too. I was very sorry to see him get killed on "24".
I remember somebody talking about cross over shows and I know that it will NEVER happen but wouldn't it be great to have Johnny smith run around with Jack Bauer?!?!

I'd think it be great! Can you imagine what Jack would do if Johnny told him who was going to destroy the world? Comparing the two characters is definitely interesting because they are both have the same mission but different ways of operating. But maybe the end will result in the same thing. What happens to all "24" villians? Death. Possibly for even the hero. That would be sad in either case too.

Also, with Kiefer and Michael being simil in hair color and a wee bit similar in facial characteristics, they could pass as cousins!

Oh, I would LOVE to see that. Even though I'm not sure if I want Johnny to ever shake Jack's hand. Whatever he would see wouldn't be nice. At all.

I've been toying around with fanfic plotbunnies for a crossover since months, but I'm way too terrified to screw it up. *lol* Because done right, it could be SO good.

If in the end they manage to do this on both shows, I will never get involved with a TV show again. There's no way I would survive this.

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again: I REALLY don't want AMH to get a beautiful death scene in DZ. The same goes for Kiefer in "24" I do think crossing the two shows in fic could make for a great story. Not one I would want to tackle as I find "24" even more intimidating to write for than DZ and certainly more complex than Stargate, which is the universe I became active in with fanfiction.

Hi,
You should try your hand at "24" fanfic- "24" is another rich source of diverse well-developed characters. Jack has much angst, much like John - but Jack's is expressed in other ways. A crossover story could work- I'm thinking about John bumping against someone who turns out to be a terrorist and seeing a vision and calling CTU. As someone else said here before- probably not a good idea for John to shake Jack's hand. I'm no good at that sort of thing- you're the writer. If you decide to go for it- I'd love to read it!
