Not sure if you all knew, but Melanie Torres now has one of her songs on her website. I'm not sure who is working on her site. It's a little tricky to manuver and everything does not seem to be working the way it should be. Anyway, the song is very pretty and it's the first time I really got to hear her voice well enough to give an oppinion. She is really VERY talented and I love the billingual thing she has going on. I have always thought theat Spanish and Country music were similar. I think Melanie will give the other ladies a run for their money. There is so much great talenet this year. I listened, its a good song, she's good. I still say its hard to tell until we see them live, impossible to see who can turn on the star regurlarly, and for me the original material is a big factor, not only how they interpret other peoples songs but can they make me believe its thiers. There are so many factors, I think to decide now, is a little premature. Honestly, I'll watch the performances and decide then, I'm sure i'll have my favorites I just think its funny that people are already deciding who they're behind, I'd get it if you were family or a diehard fan - cool! but no need on here to trash the competition. I would just hate to see this board go that way.

Your comment makes sense to me, Terry. I think most people are behaving just that way. Most of the criticism is just people saying things they dislike, not really ugly comments.

Obviously there is at least one poster who is unhappy that they (or someone close to them) did not make the show.
