Hello - new to this site! Just love CI. Have a question: why does Goren (1) not wear a watch and (2) in the newer versions his tie clip is worn so high up! Does anyone else notice these crazy things???

Could have sworn I have seen him wear a watch. He's a lefty so look in the right hand.

was just browsing some of the older posts, and came accross this one....I know why he wears his tie clip up so high now, but I don't know why he stopped wearing his watch. The tie clip is because, the older he gets, the chunkier he has gotten, and the clip goes up so as not to accent the belly he is getting. He is still in good health, just has a harder time getting the "roll weight" off.

As long as we're talking about clothing... I've noticed that in the earlier seasons every time Bobby sits down he unbuttons his suit coat, and every time he stands up he buttons it back up. In the later seasons, probably due to the weight issue, he no longer buttons his suit coat, although you can see him fiddling with it from time to time...

And I have to say, I was a little startled to see in Season 5, Slither, when his shirt was untucked. Never seen him do that before, not when he hasn't been undercover or something. Tie off, top button loose, yes, but untucked? Is Bobby's getting sloppy...? Or was that an *especially* late night?

comments anyone? (we're not obsessed, we're FOCUSED)

LOL! Whatever they were going for on the untucked shirt, must have worked! It caused a controversey! Would love to see that one. The button question....hhhhmmm I recall the "skinnier" Bobby had the tighter fitting waist...maybe that is why he unbuttoned it.

I thought Bobby put on the weight for a movie. Not just cuz he was getting earlier. But it doesn't matter to me, i still think he is really hot. I did notice how he used to button and unbutten his jacket, and now he doesn't really do it anymore.

He put the weight on for a short film he made, Five Minutes Mr. Welles. It is making its way around film festivals right now. In a week and a half I will be seeing it at the San Jose film festival !!
He said he was gonna go at a normal pace for losing the weight as opposed to in the past where he gained and lost weight real quick. Unhealthy and its nice to see him noticing how unhealthy that is.

I didn't mean to start a debate or put him down in any way....the original question was why his tie clip was moving up.
He also has a movie comming out in june i think called The Break Up. (Jen Aniston (sp) and Vince Vauhn)
