Hi,
I've searched the music posts but I can't seem to find the music I'm looking for.
I live in the USA and right before the actual 4400 show starts, this musical score comes on during the part where it says 'over the past 60 years 4400 people have been abducted, with no memory of where they've been" etc. Then some images flash, and the music ends when Jordan says "the world will have to deal with us". Then the actual show begins. I've only noticed this music started during season 2 but I could be very wrong. I've looked everywhere to find the name of the musical score, or who wrote it, that plays during this little intro but I cannot seem to find it.
I hope this all makes sense Does anyone know? Thank you in advance.

A lot of shows do this, but I forgot what it's called. Anyway, yeah, they did just start doing this in season two. My guess is they didn't want to waste the money if they weren't sure they were going to get more eps. or another season.

Thank you for your suggestions, unfortunately this musical score has no words. So it cannot be her, also I previewed her stuff and it is nothing like the intro music I am talking about. The music I am referring to is just like chamber music. I really would like to know what the piece is so I could get the sheet music and learn to play it.

Okay, I'm gonna go out on a limb here. I thought that I heard the melody of the theme song in the instrumental intro, but it was a slower tempo. As soon as I finish watching Rescue Me tonight, I'm going to check it and post back. I could be dead wrong or I could be like Collier, Alive...LOL.

He said he was looking for the music that plays right at the start, while they show flashback clips and put on the screen words like "4400 people were abducted...they're not a day older..."
You're talking about the themesong that plays while the credits run.
As he pointed out, the music he's talking about has no vocals.

Ok I'm not 100% sure on this one but this might help....a composer by the name of Claude Foisy does the music for the 4400...if he does the song you're talking about or not I'm not sure. But you can go to
www.claudefoisy.com and hear an audio clip from the show....hopefully this helps.

It could be him, Im not really sure. But the clip was not of the opening music, but it was chamber music so it might be him. Thanks for the info.
Please, dont give up everyone, I will keep looking for the title of the music as well. Thanks to everyone for helping!

He did the music. I like the openings of this season.
They werent sure they would be renewed after the first season and they are growing. So, good for them. I love that opening theme...but I wouldnt get rid of "a place in time" for all the 44 technology in the world.
Does anyone else find themselves humming that tune all the time? I'm like a savant with it....
ok, I'm going to the fan page just to hear it now!!!
