Full Version: Tony Shalhoub's other movies?

I've set TiVo to tape movies he is in. So far I have seen two. The latest one was "Thirteen Ghosts".

While Tony is good in it, I don't recommend it. The plot makes no sense until almost the end. Also it seems like the film can't decide if it wants to be a horror or comedy film.

The other film was "The Last Shot". I am starting to watch it again right now. My husband said it was hilarious, and the lines were very clever in it. It has a very good cast, too (well, so did "Thirteen Ghosts" but that shows how important a good script is!).

What are some other movies you've seen Tony in? What did you think?

Hi Bubba here, I have seen Tony in Thirteen Ghosts but its been a while.

Have you seen Tony in "The Last Shot"? I think Monk fans will like it. He is so different from Monk in this movie, too... there is cursing in it though, so people should know that.

Hi Bubba here, I been trying to.

I thought he was tremendous in Galaxy Quest. When he gets transported to the Space Station and says, "That was a hellofa thing." I roll every time.

And who could forget his go-rounds in the Men in Black films, where he shows us how to specifically not get "ahead" in life, so to speak.

LOL yes those are both really good! He handles that line "hell of a thing" perfectly. Also the scene with the alien woman. Ha.

My husband laughs even louder than I do at those things.

Galaxy Quest is really funny. Tony's always eating in it. He's very unlike Monk. A slow and simple man.
Raven
You must see Big Night. It's really good, and Tony is excellent. He has a big part, the chef Primo.
Paulie is another good Tony movie. Those are my 2 favorites.
I think my favorite line of Tony's in MIB 2 is when his head gets shot off again and he yells, Aw, right in the pie-hole, now nothing's gonna taste right!

Tony was awesome in both Barton Fink and The Man Who Wasn't There. I sincerely hope to see him in more Coen films in the future.
