Hi, Bubba! I heard through the grapevine that you were aksing where I was....so, voila! here I am!!! I'm glad you're posting again. And, as Og said, I really needed a break form the board!

Hi, Og, Thanks for letting Bubba know I've been on an extended hiatus. Time and distance (not to mention the round room) have done wonders for me!!!

And, in case anyone else reads this, like Teresa, Elaine, Hallie, Jerry, Lee, Tami, Memebeck.....and, ruh-oh, who am I leaving out?????? Hi!!!!!! You've all been in my thoughts...and would you believe I watched and enjoyed "Secret Santa"????? There is something to be said for absence making the heart grow fonder!

Hi Bubba here, yes I reckon. I been trying to keep the six degrees going, I like doing those on the old board. I love Nash, I have also been watching some of his new show Just Legal which I heard, will resume in late March. Hope you check out my two new sites. Hi Bubba here, yes, Nash Bridges is a very good show. It had a lot of guest stars. I love his atittude and his car. I love the show.

Since the topic here is about shows, partially anyway, last night at midnight I watched "Strong Medicine" on the Lifetime Channel and BITTY was the guest star. She did a great dramatic acting role as a heroin addict who died in the end. She was as beautiful as ever, almost so pale as to be called ethereal, no heavy make-up and she wasn't portrayed as the 'junkie kind of looking woman', she played a middleclass business woman addicted to heroin and did a great job. This woman should be given a chance to have her own series.

Bubba,

Yeah, but it's Don Johnson and Cheech Marin who make the show a series! I do enjoy watching all the reruns of it on USA Network at midnight or one a.m.! And, yes, the attitude and style of the series was a definite attempt to recreate the character,style, and flair of Johnson's "Miami Vice" mega TV hit series IMO (and to a very high degree, this was effectively realized/accomplished in the NASH BRIDGES series). I enjoy the half completed apartment/loft of Nash's and the half completed/rebulit police headquarters--it's as if they're always in the middle of re-building/revamping from earthquakes... The car is essential to the style and feel of the show, too! Thank goodness Nash didn't have a pet alligator named Elvis in this series!

Usually I'm doing housework this time of day, so couldn't watch then. I blast my stereo while I'm cleaning, and dance my way through dusting, etc.
Was only gonna get on the board for a "minute or two" before I started the cleaning, but now I'm hooked again. Oh, well, so a table doesn't get dusted, it's not the end of the world. (Don't tell Adrian I said that.)

Mihoko is here, she helps me keep Jerry in line when he posts. That heavy sighing should draw him out! I think everyone should challenge Mihoko to try a limerick! Whadda ya say Mihoko? Ganbatte, yuuki o dashite. Yattemitara! I'll help you if you want me to.
This is pure speculation mind you but, I think the truffle with Og is, he's very busy whipping up a bunch of his special holiday truffles. Remember last year? There was something about cats, tow trucks, and sardines also but, I think that was some weird, California, passing fad or something. I'm not sure if we should go to the truffle of alerting the media in his area or if we're just asking for truffle, getting involved.
As for me, between the cat-astrophes and all the dog-gone emergencies it's hard to stay awake long enough to post something intelligible; although I have been perfecting a new typing technique that lets me snooze face-down on the desktop, using one hand to type while my other hand hangs to the floor. Still working on it though.

Bubba, I sometimes catch the 10:00 a.m. "Nash Bridges" but my husband and I would love it if USA would put it on Friday nights before "Monk"! We both really like the show!
