I think it's more that he's the solid, reliable hub around with all the other characters revolve. So, he doesn't stand out as much. I like Hank a great deal, but I'm an admitted Boris fan, and a Dieterhead.

That's kinda what draws me to him - the fact that no one seems to notice him and yet he's the "main" character.. You know? I like those that don't try to stand out.
Boris is my second favorite.. I wish the writers would show the "relationship" or friendship between him and Hank more.. I understand that Campbell wanted to spend more time with his family and I applaud him for that but perhaps after that, it'd be nice to see.

I like Hank alot - he would be a great doctor to have. I sometimes get tired of the MacGyver routine but I always like Hank. I liked RP when they had Hank treating the "average" folks and they seem to have kind of wandered away from that too. There really isn't anything average about the General's Mrs.; art guy; Jack the golf pro or even the party planner because she is in the thick of the rich and shameless set. I liked the fisherman, etc.
As for Boris and Hank - they have great "bromance" potential and you see glimpses of it every once in awhile.

That's true - I haven't actually paid that much attention to the patients because I never actually cared about them but I do miss the days where he was treating everyone and not just Mr. or Mrs. Rich&Famous.. I liked when he was reaching out to the "poor" community as well as servicing the richer ones.
They do, don't they? Hey, what episodes specifically do you get to see glimpses of that potential? As I've said before, I want to write a Boris and Hank centered fic so I'm going to need those for research and References.

Season 1:
Strategic Planning - at the end Boris tells Hank he ".....have plans for you...."
Crazy Love - one of my favorite scenes when they are looking at the shark and Boris does the double-take and says "I like you, Hank"
Nobody's Perfect - the ultimate Boris episode
Season 2:
Medusa
Mano y Mano - these are the Cuba episodes but Boris talks about not wanting to go through all the "fun" of the tests without Hank and then, as sick as he is, in the last one - he wants Hank to treat him instead of who Marisa chooses.
Season 3:
Traffic - the apology scene
I was going to say Run Hank, Run but really Boris was too sick in that one and sometimes I get confused between Boris-centric and Hank-Boris episodes.
B-Mouse and ddanne might have other ideas - these are my favorites. It isn't an "in your face" relationship. It is more that Hank can kind of tweak Boris and Boris either tolerates it or is slightly amused and it strikes me that Boris may not have a lot of that kind of friends in his life so Hank is a unique friend for Boris.

Thanks for those.. I'll have to keep them in mind for when I write.
