Anybody know the genesis of the tattoo on Auggie ANDERSON's back. It looks like s Special Forces team logo from the Global War on Terror.

yup! Ive actually talked to Chris about this!!!
it is the special forces symbol and its two swords and it says "De oppressor liber" which means "to free the oppressed" and its the special forces motto. Auggie was in the special forces. and its not Chris Gorhams real tattoo he has none.

The "crossed arrows" is a symbol of US Army Special Forces and the motto of Special Forces is as you noted. The sword in the center is point down which I have seen in some team logos. The unit crest for Special Forces features those crossed arrows as well as a Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife, a double-edged fighting knife but point up.

Glad Chris Gorman doesn't have a real tattoo. His body is so much nicer without it!
