Wish granted - tonight's episode introduces us to "Johnny Eames". Apparently, he knew criminal Johnny Driscoll, who turned out to be a "whack" job (heh, heh).
I learned a new phrase tonight: "Irish Alzheimers" - when you forget everything but the grudges.
Eames was great tonight!
I didn't catch the first part of the phrase. Never heard that before.
Alzheimer's really sucks. When the show continues, as I hope,
maybe they can deal with how he declines. Sometimes folks
loose their inhibitions. Johnny might become quiet explicit about
what he thinks about Bobby and his daughter, and Bobby would
have to take it because it wouldn't be Johnny's fault. Alzheimer's often
rips families apart. One person gets pegged the caregiver, and
may have to quit their job if they can't afford paid care or placement.
Bobby could really repay her so much in an ordeal like that. He
knows how it feels to have a parent in mental distress. Sad.
