Looks like we're going to meet Eames' dad.

That's Fantastic! The last time we heard Eames talk about her father was back in season 6. And now we're going to meet her father compare to meeting her sister in season 8.

In network television's war on fans, the worst criminal offenders are running this network.

I don't think we would learn anything new about Eames if she didn't have some "meaty' scenes with her dad.

I learned a new phrase tonight: "Irish Alzheimers" - when you forget everything but the grudges.
Eames was great tonight!

Wish granted - tonight's episode introduces us to "Johnny Eames". Apparently, he knew criminal Johnny Driscoll, who turned out to be a "whack" job (heh, heh).

Agreed!
I guess Alex's mom has passed away. Since her sister and brother are both married with families, Alex seems to be the one who takes care of Johnny the most.
Bobby and Johnny seemed comfortable with each other and it appeared that it wasn't the first time they met.
I love when LOCI gives us these personal tidbits!

Yeah, I kind of got the sense that Mr. Eames was being "suggestive" when he brought up the "no children" thing.
I love seeing more of Eames, too.
Yes, it made Bobby smile!

I have to say that has to be the most relaxed I think they have ever let us see Goren, he has the look on his face like......"old story" and that the interaction between father and daughter on certain subjects are often "rehashed" and he also looks remarkably comfortable with them. Why were they there? Remember I am in UK and not seen any episode of 10 yet, any more pictures?

Eames' dad is a retired cop and was giving Bobby and Alex some info about a suspect.
I posted this in the "Streets" thread earlier but here are some screen caps I made in a Slideshow. I'm new at this and still learning, so they are not great. Also, not all the captions have to do with the show!

It seems that a racist person with militant tendencies could either join some sort of militia or join the police force, with the latter being the more desirable option.
